If you are looking for the best burger places in Balham that you can go to and enjoy the tastiest burger then check out our team’s favourite restaurants that they listed below.

We highly recommend venturing to Balham and indulging in the top-tier burgers served at these four establishments.

Haché

First on our list is – a casual Parisian-inspired cafe that has an incredible interior design that will impress you. But, of course, the star of the show is the food they offer so we will focus on their menu rather than the interior but it’s still important for us to note that the ambience is perfect.

You should try the Steak Canadien Burger (beef patty, cheddar cheese, maple bacon jam, smoked bacon, mustard mayo, tomato, red onion, rocket), the Steak Le Fume Burger (beef patty, caramelised onions, smoked bacon, cheese, slaw, bloody Marie ketchup), the Chicken Malibu Burger (chicken, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, avocado, mustard mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion), and the Buffalo Burger (fried chicken, hot cayenne mayo, red onion, shredded lettuce, pickles, Roquefort dip).

We also highly recommend their vegetarian Hot Cauliflower Cheese Burger even if you do eat meat because it’s excellent – with cauliflower, hot cayenne sauce, melted
cheese sauce, mustard mayo, tomato, onion, rocket, pickled chilli pepper).

Address: 37 Bedford Hill, London SW12 9EY

Hagen & Hyde

Next on our list is a lovely pub with a cosy interior, excellent service, and a great selection of drinks such as wines and beers as well as tasty food.

We really enjoy their Beef Burger with Bacon, Cheese, Secret Sauce, Lettuce, and Tomato as well as their Crispy Chicken Burger with Roast Chicken Butter, Pickles, Lettuce, and Bacon Jam.

They also have a vegetarian option with a plant-based patty, mayonnaise, Chilli Jam, Lettuce, and Tomato.

Our team also recommend you try their Green Goddess Salad (with lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, olives, quinoa, and a special herb and avocado dressing) paired with their Beer Battered Fish & Chips (with peas and tartare sauce).

Address: 157 Balham High Rd, London SW12 9AU

Smoke Daddies

If you like smoked meat then Smoke Daddies is the place to visit. They smoke their own meats and they incorporate them in lovely gourmet burgers which is an excellent combination.

We recommend you try their A Bone to Pick Burger (with beef short rib, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, bacon), the Risk it for a Brisket (with 14-hour smoked brisket, homemade slaw, pickles, house mayo, special sauce), and the Nashville Style Crunchy Chicken Burger (panko fried chicken, hot sauce, homemade garlic mayo, cheese, pickles).

Address: 14 Hildreth St, London SW12 9RQ

The Kebab Company

The Kebab Company is a lovely Turkish takeout place so keep in mind they have a very limited dine-in area. They offer delicious salads, wraps, doners, Turkish kebabs, grilled meats, and, of course, burgers. But unlike other Turkish restaurants that offer more simple burgers, The Kebab Company has created some very unique and gourmet-style options.

For example, their Cheese Lamb or Steak Burger (pick between a lamb patty or a steak, melted cheese, tomato, cucumbers, a special salad), the Special Chicken Burger (chicken, bacon, hash browns, melted cheese, salad), and the Halal Bacon Cheese Burger (pick steak or a minted lamb patty, “halal” bacon, melted cheese, hash brown, tomato, cabbage salad).
