Here are four excellent burger places located in Chingford that you should check out.
Epic Burgers
First on our list is Epic Burgers which is a lovely little burger restaurant. Their menu is very impressive – and they have something for everyone. Whether you enjoy beef or chicken burgers, or perhaps you don’t eat meat and want a plant-based patty, they got you covered.
Our favourites beef burgers are the Hot Aztec (beef patty, lettuce, house mayo, salsa, pink peppercorn, chilli cheese, guacamole, sweet chilli sauce, chilli tortilla nachos, sliced red chilli pepper), the Meat Feast (beef patty, caramelised red onion, Monterey jack cheese, pulled beef, bacon, crispy fried onion, honey BBQ sauce), and the Cowboy (beef patty, Honey habanero, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, bacon, jalapeno pickles, crispy fried onions, BBQ sauce).
For all chicken burger lovers, check out their Sassy Chick (Fried chicken, lettuce tomato, fried red onion, house mayo, buffalo sauce, American cheese, kimchi, BBQ sauce) and the Ideal Chick (fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onion, house mayo, Monterey jack cheese, homemade coleslaw, garlic aioli).
Their vegan burgers are also very good – for example, we love the Vegan Chick (plant-based patty, lettuce, red onion, tomato, vegan house mayo, vegan cheese, homemade vegan coleslaw, vegan garlic aioli) and the Hot Beyond Meat (plant-based patty, lettuce, salsa, pink peppercorn, vegan cheese, guacamole, chilli tortilla nachos, red chilli pepper, sweet chilli sauce).

Royal Forest Brewers Fayre
Next on our list is Royal Forest Brewers Fayre which is a lovely casual restaurant with very friendly staff, excellent food, and an impressive menu where you will find burgers, steaks, comfort foods such as pies, curry, and much more.
But we will focus on their burgers – our favourites are their Big Stack Burger (two beef patties, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickled gherkin, red onion, burger sauce) and the Smothered Chicken Burger (fried buttermilk chicken, bacon, Cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce).
And we do recommend you also get a dessert – the Mini Profiteroles, Baked Cookie S’mores, and Chocolate Layer Torte are excellent.

Larkswood Harvester
Another restaurant that we recommend every burger lover visit is Larkswood Harvester. It’s a lovely place that is very casual yet the food is unique and creative, plus the burgers are gourmet.
We do love their Southern-Fried Burger (with two fried chicken fillets, melted Monterey Jack cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce), the BBQ King Burger (beef patty, BBQ pulled pork, melted Monterey Jack cheese, burger sauce), the Beef Classic (beef patty, melted Monterey Jack cheese, bacon, burger sauce), and the Dirty One (beef patty, fried onions, has brown, cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, burger sauce).

V’s Burgers
V’s Burgers is another casual burger spot that we highly recommend you visit. We recently discovered it, however, it quickly became a favourite of ours due to its incredible menu and delicious gourmet burgers.
Check out their Angus Beef Burger (aged Angus beef patty, cheese, lettuce, red onion, tomato), the Grilled Chicken Burger (grilled chicken breast, cheese, lettuce, red onion, and tomato), and the V’s Burger (Angus beef patty, strips of grilled chicken, turkey bacon, grilled halloumi, cheese, lettuce, red onion, and tomato).
What we love most about this spot is that you have to choose what style you want your burger to be served as. The Classic Style includes Relish, Burger Sauce, Pickles, and Grilled Onion. The Cheezilla Style includes House Mayo and Emmantel Cheese. The Flaming Eagle Style includes Sriracha, mayo, Chipotle, and jalapenos. And the BBQ style includes BBQ sauce and mayo.
