Are you wondering which burger places in Highgate are the best? We are ready to share our favourite ones that are definitely worth visiting if you are a burger lover.

4 Of The Best Burger Places In Highgate According To Our Team

Bull Highgate

We wanted to start off today’s list with our favourite pub in the area – Bull Highgate. We love the venue, the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff as well as the drinks so you can never go wrong with visiting this spot.

Now, they do offer incredible food such as Venison sausage roll, Black pepper squid (with fried whitebait, Niçoise salad, and lemon dressing), pies, pork chops, fish and chips, steaks, and other pub-classics but with their unique and modern twist to them.

When it comes to their burgers – they do only serve one burger, however, in our opinion, it’s one of the best we have had in Highgate – it’s a Short rib & flank burger (with smoked Applewood Cheddar, burnt onions, bone marrow crumb, gherkins, skin-on fries) so it’s still worth visiting if you are a burger lover for sure.

The Wrestlers

Next on our list is The Wrestlers – another excellent pub from the 16th century (yes, it does have a rich history). The interior is gorgeous and very cosy with fireplaces and stained glass. Of course, the star of the show is indeed the food but the lovely interior is also very important.

Our favourite burgers off of their menu are the Wrestlers Burger (homemade beef patty, mature cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, fries) and the Chicken Burger (char-grilled marinated chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, garlic mayo, fries). And if you don’t eat meat, go for the Vegan Burger (Butternut squash and chickpea patty, lettuce, tomato, vegan mayo, sweet potato fries).

The Angel Inn

Another excellent pub that offers delicious burgers in the area is The Angel Inn. This is quite a popular spot that many love – including our team.

You can never go wrong with their Smoked Bacon Cheeseburger (beef patty, Devonshire Cheddar, fries, house sauce) or the Plant-Based Burger if you don’t eat meat (grilled vegan patty, pickled onions, tomato salsa, fries, house sauce).

Archie’s is a great casual cafe that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch – the venue is stunning yet casual plus they have an excellent food menu.

We highly recommend our favourite burger off of their menu – the Bacon, Egg & Cheese (which has crispy smoked bacon, fried egg, melted Monterey Jack cheese, spinach, and smoky chipotle ketchup).
