4 Of The Best Burger Places In Homerton You Should Visit

Buns & Puns

First on our list is a casual little burger spot in the area that has a great menu and a lot of options when it comes to their burgers.

If you like beef burgers then check out their Eggy Peggy (beef patty, special sauce, hash brown, onion, tomatoes, lettuce), the Meat N Cheese (beef patty, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, soft cream, mayo, sweet sauce), the Let’s Ketchup (beef patty, ketchup, mayo, jalapenos, onions, lettuce, tomatoes), and the Smoky BBQ (beef patty, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mayo, onion, lettuce, mayo).

For all chicken burger lovers, go for the Single Chicken Burger (fried chicken, Mayo, Lettuce, Onion, Tomatoes) and the Frying Bird Chicken Burger (fried chicken, mayo, lettuce, onion, cheese).

The Spread Eagle

Next on our list is an excellent pub that our team likes a lot – The Spread Eagle. They have a beautiful venue with a blue bar and lots of plants as well as a garden with a seating area that is very cosy.

Now, we do want you to keep in mind that their menu is entirely vegan and they offer a vegan take on pub-classics so if you do eat meat, you might want to skip to the next burger spot on our list.

And even though we are not vegan, we still very much enjoy their food – and their burgers. Our favourites are the Korean Burger (fried wild mushrooms, gochujang sauce, pickled carrot, daikon slaw) and the Classic Burger (plant-based patty, lettuce, gherkins, burger sauce).

Burger And Chop

If you do eat meat and you did skip the previous spot, you should go to Burger And Chop because their burgers never disappoint and are always tasty, and packed with amazing ingredients.

Check out their Pastrami and Kraut Burger (beef patty, Monterey Jack cheese, Deli Pastrami, Homemade Sourkraut, Chipotle mayo, Mustard, Charcoal sesame bun), The Spicy One (beef patty, Monterey Jack cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, Grilled Jalapenos, Chipotle BBQ sauce, Spicy mayo, Lettuce), the Bacon Burger (beef patty, cheese, smoked bacon, ketchup, mustard, pickle, lettuce, pickled red onion), the B&C Crispy Chicken Burger (buttermilk fried chicken, spicy chipotle mayo, lettuce, house slaw), and the Spicy Chicken Burger (Buttermilk fried chicken thigh, Grilled Jalapenos, Chipotle BBQ sauce, Spicy Mayo, Lettuce).

And another excellent burger spot in the area that you must try is Bunster – it’s a casual restaurant that is also perfect for takeaway.

Our favourite beef burgers are their Classic Burger (Beef patty, Monterey jack cheese, caramelised red onions, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, ketchup, mayo, mustard), the Back to Bunster Burger (Beef patty, Monterey jack cheese, caramelised red onions, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, homemade sauce), the Pink Slaw Burger (beef patty, Monterey jack cheese, homemade pink slaw, gherkins), and the Bunster’s Spice Burger (beef patty, Monterey jack cheese, caramelised red onions, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, homemade hot sauce).

When it comes to their chicken burgers, we really like the Korean BBQ (fried buttermilk chicken, smoked turkey bacon, lettuce, gherkins, onions, ketchup, mayo, BBQ sauce), the Mexicana Burger (grilled chicken breast, Monterey jack cheese, caramelised red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, guacamole, jalapeno mayo, Mexican salsa), and The Schnitzel Burger (fried buttermilk chicken, Monterey jack cheese, gherkins, homemade pink slaw).
