One favourite burger spot in the area that we recommend to everyone is The Hogget at Hook – an excellent pub with a lovely garden and an outdoor sitting area.

Another great pub that our team adores and often visits in the area is The Crooked Billet.
Try out their Homemade Beef Burger (beef patty, chips, a choice of either Pulled Pork & Melted Cheese or Creamy Garlic Mushrooms & Melted cheese) and their Salt & Pepper Style Chicken Burger (with seaweed, sweet chilli sauce, chips, slaw).
They also have great desserts such as their Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake and the Honeycomb Cheesecake.

Last but not least on our list is The Leather Bottle – a stunning pub that is perfect for the summer because of the gorgeous garden and outdoor sitting area.
They do offer plenty of pub classics, however, we will focus on their burgers – and our favourite one is the Steak burger (it has a beef patty, beer onions, grilled pancetta, Monterey Jack, spiced tomato mayonnaise, fries – and we also like to add pulled BBQ pork).
