4 Of The Best Burger Places In Watford According To Our Team
Smoky Boys
Of course, we can’t make a list with all the best burger places in Watford and not put Smokey Boys first. This place is very popular and known for offering delicious burgers and overall excellent service! It’s an American restaurant with a lovely interior and an impressive menu featuring comfort food.
We usually start off with their Grilled Halloumi Skewers and Nachos with Chilli Con Carne.
When it comes to their burgers, they have plenty of options. We love the Smoky Bacon Burger (with beef patty, maple glazed oak smoked bacon, grilled onions, Cheddar cheese, American cheese, special sauce), the Smoky BBQ & Cheese (with beef patty, Cheddar cheese, American cheese, coleslaw, grilled onions, gherkins, BBQ sauce), the Southern Fried (with crispy chicken fillet, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions, special sauce), and the Moroccan Lamb (with lamb patty, lettuce, grilled red peppers, tzatziki, grilled halloumi, chilli).

Next on our list is actually an Italian restaurant that we love very much – Pepe Rosso. But aside from delicious Italian food such as pasta and pizza, they also offer incredible burgers you have to try!
The menu includes four different options – a beef burger, two chicken burgers, and a veggie burger.
The beef burger is called Pepe Rosso Angus Burger and has a homemade Angus Beef patty, Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Gherkin. The first chicken burger is the Pepe Rosso Chicken Burger (grilled chicken, Lettuce, Red Onion, and Tomatoes) and the second one is the Breaded Chicken Burger (with chicken, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, mayo).
And when it comes to the veggie burger, has a bean patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onions. All burgers are also served with fries.

We usually start off with a Halloumi Fries and their Duck Pate (a duck and orange pate with cognac caramelised onion chutney, served with a salad).
When it comes to their burgers, you have to try the Southern Fried Chicken Burger (with fried chicken, spicy coleslaw, Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce, and buffalo sauce) and the Boerewors (with Boerewors which are South African sausages with pork and beef, gherkins, red onions, lettuce, special sauce).

Bill’s Watford Restaurant

But before we get to their burgers, we must say that you have to try their Duck Salad (pulled barbecued duck, watermelon, coriander), the Chicken and Sesame Dumplings, the Spiced Crab Cakes with chilli, lobster mayo as well as their incredible Tuna Avocados (with tomatoes, tuna, avocado, and special sauce).
Our favourite burgers are the Black Gold Burger (with grilled beef patty, black truffles, 24-carat gold, and rosemary fries) and the Bill’s Classic Burger (with beef patty, tomato, lettuce, pickles, secret sauce, red onion, rosemary fries).
If you don’t eat meat then go for their Dirty Vegan Burger (vegan patty, vegan cheese, truffle hot sauce, vegan mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion, rosemary fries).
