Monster Cleaning sends the same cleaner to your home every week or fortnight, at £23 an hour weekly or £24 an hour fortnightly, with a three-hour visit from £69. We cover London, Liverpool, Manchester and the areas around them.
The cleaner arrives with the products and equipment, vacuum included, works through the same routine each time and gets to know how you like things done. A weekly three-hour visit is £69; a fortnightly one is £72. Longer visits and ironing are added by the hour. To work out a visit: hours booked × the hourly rate, plus any ironing time. Three hours is about what a two-bed flat needs to be done properly. If the property has no free parking or sits in the congestion zone, we add what that costs us and nothing more.
What the cleaner does on each visit
Every visit follows the same core routine, sized to your home and the hours booked. This is what a three-hour weekly clean covers in a typical two-bed flat. If a smaller place is finished early, the cleaner moves on to the extras (inside the microwave, the window sills, the fridge shelves) and uses the rest of the time.
In the kitchen:
- worktops, splashback, sink and taps wiped, disinfected and descaled (London water is hard enough that the taps need it weekly)
- hob cleaned with the grates lifted
- fronts of the fridge, dishwasher, extractor and microwave wiped
- floor mopped with the right product for the surface, because laminate and real wood want different solutions
- bins emptied and relined if you leave liners out
In the bathrooms:
- bath, shower, screen and tiles scrubbed and descaled
- toilet cleaned under the rim, round the base and on the cistern and flush handle
- basin, taps, mirror and glass polished
- floor washed into the corners and behind the pedestal, which is where a bathroom starts to smell first
- towels folded, or swapped if you leave fresh ones out
In bedrooms and living rooms, the cleaner dusts every flat surface up to the tops of door and picture frames, vacuums carpets, rugs and hard floors, and mops the hard floors. Beds get made, and changed if clean sheets are left out. Skirting boards go on a rotation so they are done regularly without eating into every visit.
Right through the home, light switches, door handles and bannisters are wiped, internal glass and large mirrors are cleaned, and surfaces are tidied. If you would like personal things left exactly where they are, say so and they will be. Each visit ends with a walk round to check nothing has been missed.
Extras you can add to a regular visit
Ask for any of these when you book and we build the time into the same slot. Ironing has its own rate; everything else is charged as cleaning time.
- Ironing at £12 an hour. A couple’s weekly pile usually takes about 45 minutes, and it is the extra people ask for most.
- Inside the fridge, emptied shelf by shelf, wiped, dried and refilled.
- A load of washing, put on and hung out or tumbled.
- Bedding changed across spare and children’s rooms as well as the main bedroom.
- Inside the windows done properly, frames and all. Outside windows are a separate service on the window cleaning page.

Meet your cleaner. We match you with a cleaner who works your area and has your preferred day free. The first visit starts with a short walk round, so you can point out what matters and anything to leave alone.
Sort out access. Be at home, leave a key with us, give us a key safe code or leave a key with your concierge. Whatever suits you.
Carry on with your week. Your cleaner lets themselves in, works through the routine and locks up, so the clean gets done even when you are out.
Letting a cleaner into your home
Giving a key to someone you have met once is a big step. This is what stands behind the cleaner who turns up.
Vetted before they work alone. Every cleaner is interviewed in person, insured, and trained on our 57-point checklist before they work unsupervised.
The same face at the door. You see one cleaner, week after week, wherever we can arrange it. If they are off sick or on holiday, the cover cleaner gets a handover note on your home first.
Not the right fit? If a cleaner is not a good fit for your home, tell us and we move you to someone else.

Changing, pausing or skipping a visit
There is no long-term contract to sign. If you are away for a fortnight, want to go from weekly to fortnightly, need an extra hour before guests arrive or would like a different day, ring the office on 0333 555 2076 and we change the rota. Skipping a single visit, or stopping altogether, is the same phone call.
Regular domestic cleaning is upkeep for a lived-in home
Regular domestic cleaning is a booked visit, weekly or fortnightly, in which one cleaner keeps a home that is already in reasonable shape at the same standard. It deals with the dust and bathroom scale of an ordinary week. When a home has slipped a long way, or you are moving in or getting ready to sell, you want a one-off deep clean instead: a team of at least two cleaners working to reset the whole place.

The deep clean’s £30 kit charge is dropped if you would like the team to use your own products. Plenty of households book a deep clean first to get the place back to a clean start, then keep it there with a weekly or fortnightly visit. Every price we charge is on the prices page.
Regular cleaning questions
How often should I have a cleaner?
Weekly suits families, couples who both work and anyone working from home. Fortnightly suits smaller households with tidy habits. If you are not sure, start fortnightly and change after a month once you can see how the home holds up between visits.
Do I need to be in when the cleaner comes?
No. Most customers leave a key with us, a key safe code or a key with the concierge, and the cleaner lets themselves in, cleans and locks up. Some people prefer to be at home for the first few visits, which is fine too. Just tell us which you want.
What happens when my cleaner is on holiday or off sick?
We send cover, and the cover cleaner reads a handover note on your home before they arrive: access, the rooms that matter to you and anything to leave alone. Your usual cleaner comes back to you when they return.
Do you bring your own products and equipment?
Yes, all of it, vacuum included. Our standard products are EU Ecolabel certified. If you have a product you want used, such as a floor cleaner you like or something gentle for a baby or an allergy, leave it out and the cleaner will use yours at no extra cost.
What if something gets broken during a clean?
Tell us. Our cleaners are insured, and if the damage is our fault we repair it, replace it or cover the cost. If there is anything valuable or fragile you are worried about, point it out on the first visit and the cleaner will work around it.
Is it all right if pets or children are at home?
Yes. The cleaners are used to working around dogs, cats and small children. Let us know if the dog stays in one room or a door needs to stay shut, and we will work to that.
Is a regular clean the same as a deep clean?
No. A regular clean is one cleaner keeping a home on top of things, from £69 a visit. A deep clean is a one-off team job from £186 that tackles built-up dirt. If the place needs a reset first, book the deep clean and start regular visits after it.
