Your bathroom is probably the one room that needs cleaning the most. Our team knows that you neglect it – but don’t worry, all of our schedules are so busy and our days are filled with responsibilities that it’s normal to forget to do some cleaning chores, we get it! You often vacuum and clean all surfaces of your bedroom and living room because that’s where you spend most of your time, however, it’s time to think about your bathroom and actually deep clean it as well!

We know that deep cleaning usually means this time-consuming and difficult task, however, what if we gave you only 9 simple steps that you need to follow in order to achieve a spotless bathroom? What if it’s not that hard?

Well, here are the 9 steps you need to follow!

– Step 1

The first step would be preparing the bathroom for the deep cleaning. This means that you need to remove all towels, shampoo bottles, toothbrushes, soap dispensers, etc. that might get in your way when you are clean.

By doing this you will make the cleaning a lot easier!

Once you do that – prepare all the cleaning supplies you will need. I recommend an all-purpose cleaner, a bathroom cleaner, baking soda, vinegar, bleach, disinfectant, toilet bowl cleaner, and a glass cleaner!

– Step 2

Now that your bathroom is ready to be cleaned and you have prepared everything you will need it’s time to start cleaning!

Start with focusing on the shower and the bathtub.

The first thing you need to do is remove the shower curtain/ liner and throw it in the washing machine with a few towels. Washing them in the shower will save you a lot of time! Once they are clean – hang them back.

Of course, while the shower curtain/ liner is being cleaned in your washing machine move on to the shower doors. Pour some vinegar on a cloth and wipe them all over. If there are any stains I suggest you pour a little bit of baking soda on the problematic areas and let it sit for a few hours. Then rinse with water!

Then clean the bathtub by spraying a bathroom cleaner all over the tub and letting it sit for a few minutes (read the label of the product and follow the instructions).

It’s time to clean the showerhead. There is an amazing trick that you can use to do so – fill a bucket with vinegar and submerge the showerhead in there overnight.

– Step 3

Now that your bathtub and shower are clean – focus on the tile!

Now, dilute bleach with water (again, follow the instructions written on the bottle) and apply the mixture with a brush.

Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse with water.

– Step 4

It’s time for the toilet – the most hated cleaning chore ever!

Start by pouring a toilet bowl cleaner in the bowl, scrub with the toilet brush then flush.

If there are any stubborn stains you can always use a bit of baking soda!

Then you need to clean the toilet brush – pour a disinfectant (or bleach) all over the brustles then rinse well.

And last but not least – disinfect the toilet seat. You can use a disinfectant or disinfectant wipes which is the fastest way.

– Step 5

Now move on to cleaning the sink. Since the sink is probably covered in bacteria you need to spray it with disinfectant or wipe it with disinfecting wipes – and don’t forget the faucet and countertops as well!

– Step 6

It’s time to use that glass cleaner you prepared and clean the mirrors.

– Step 7

Now that you are almost finished with deep cleaning your bathroom it’s time to replace the old towels with new ones. Wash the old ones in the washing machine and replace them.

– Step 8

Don’t forget the floors! I usually use the bathroom cleaner, spray it all over the floor then wipe it with a damp mop.

– Step 9

Now that you deep cleaned everything in your bathroom you can put back all those objects like shampoo bottles, toothbrushes, soap dispensers, etc. that you removed in Step 1 back to where you usually place them!
