Thankfully, there are plenty of incredible Indian restaurants in Westminster that exceed your expectations – and today, our team has decided to share all of our favourite Indian restaurants in the area with you!

The 4 Best Indian Restaurants In Westminster You Must Visit

Quilon

The first on our list is Quilton – a beautifully decorated stylish restaurant that is Michelin-starred! They offer delicious home-cooked Indian food as well as a lot of seafood dishes you need to try!

You definitely need to order a starter – we recommend the Cauliflower chilli fry (with yoghurt, green chilli and curry leaves), the Mini masala dosa as well as the Crab cakes. Also, if you love seafood you will enjoy their Lobster broth (with coriander, coconut cream).

They offer plenty of interesting Vegetarian main dishes – Mango curry, Jackfruit biryani, Spinach poriyal (spinach, mustard seeds, grated coconut), and many more.

On their menu, you will also find Seafood dishes, Lamb Dishes, as well as Chicken Dishes!

Cinnamon Club

This restaurant’s venue is a former Westminster Library making the interior super stylish, unique, and sophisticated! Also, they offer creative and modern dishes as well as a few traditional Indian foods which is why we highly recommend you visit the Cinnamon Club – you will be able to taste amazing food that you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

We really enjoy their Lobster Thermidor which is a modern take on this classic starter! We also have had the Vegan Achari Gobhi (cauliflower with pickling spices, spinach and nutmeg sauce) and the Vesavara (chicken breast, chicken leg stew, stir-fried greens).

Our team highly recommends you leave room for dessert because they offer interesting options – the Passion fruit and vanilla cheesecake with honeycomb crumble as well as the Lemon and rasmalai cream brûlée with pink peppercorn crisp are definitely our favourites!

The Indian Diner

Next on our list is The Indian Diner – a casual restaurant with an amazing Indian menu. Unlike the previous two places, the prices are affordable and the venue isn’t as sophisticated so if you are looking for a casual quick lunch or dinner head over to The Indian Diner!

We do love their Chicken Chettinad (chicken, roasted peppercorns, coconut, red chilli and tomato sauce), the King Prawn Shashlik, the Lamb Chops, the Curry and the Salmon Masal. Of course, there are plenty of other options on the menu you can choose from – and they truly have something for everyone’s taste!

The Curry Room at The Rubens

The Curry Room is one of those restaurants that will really transport you to India with the amazing decor and delicious food. Since the interior design of the venue is so incredible we definitely need to focus on it – it has a rich red colour scheme as well as hand embroidery covering the walls.

The menu is set and it’s a three-course menu offering a few dishes to choose from. Starters include samosas, papadums, chutney, lime pickle, and raita while the main dishes you can choose from are curry, fried aubergine, butter chicken, and a few other dishes.

Of course, we cannot miss the dessert – you can choose from fresh papaya, sorbet, banana pudding, vanilla cheesecake, and a few other options.

While there isn’t a strict dress code for The Curry Room, the staff kindly asks all guests to dress respectfully and avoid flip-flops, sportswear, etc.
