Where to eat Italian cuisine if you live in Chiswick? Since there are so many amazing Italian restaurants in the area it can be pretty hard to pick where to go! Thankfully, our team is a huge fan of Italian food – from the traditional starters to the main dishes, pasta, pizza, and even the incredible desserts which is why we decided to share all of our favourite Italian restaurants in Chiswick with you!

Our esteemed team has conducted a thorough investigation and can now attest to the four most exemplary purveyors of Italian cuisine in the prestigious district of Chiswick.

Villa di Geggiano

Villa di Geggiano is such a beautiful Italian restaurant with local art covering the walls. They also have outdoor seating which is perfect for the summer! We really love this place because it has a way of transporting you to Italy. We know most restaurants promise to do that, however, Villa di Geggiano’s decor, atmosphere, and food really make it happen!

Now, aside from the stylish interior and the amazing vibe of this place, the food is truly incredible and they offer some of the best pasta in Chiswick!

We highly recommend you try the Cauliflower Soup served with Sourdough Croutons, the Potatoes Gnocchi (with Spicy Pork Nduja Sauce and Burrata), the Grilled Tiger Prawns Skewers (Marinated With Olive Oil and Chili) as well as the Tortelloni Pasta (filled with Cod and Potatoes, served in a Lemongrass Broth with Edible Flowers).

Also, make sure you leave room for dessert because Villa di Geggiano can prepare delicious traditional “Dolci” – from Tiramisu to Homemade Sorbets and Gelato!

Tarantella

Tarantella is a cosy little Italian restaurant offering incredible food prepared from fresh ingredients! The dishes on the menu are diverse – from traditional fish and meat dishes, and pizza to some incredible vegan and vegetarian dishes!

You need to start off with their Gamberoni Arrostiti (roasted king prawns, garlic, chilli, salad leaves, lemon wedge) as well as the Mozzarella Pomodorella (mozzarella marinated in sundried tomato pesto).

Then make sure you order a pizza because they are incredible – we love the Diavola (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, salami Napoli and fresh chilli) as well as the Napoli (tomato sauce, mozzarella, capers, olives and anchovies).

Casa Dino Restaurant

This family-run Italian restaurant has made sure to deliver that authentic Italian taste to Chiswick, and we love going to Casa Dino because of it! Please, keep in mind that they do not serve pizzas – they are focused on pasta, meat, and seafood dishes!

You can never go wrong with ordering a starter – for example, the Lime & Chilli Prawns, the Melanzana Alla Parmigiana (layers of aubergine, parmesan and tomato baked in the oven), or the Calamari with wasabi sauce!

Next, make sure you either get pasta, risotto, or a traditional main dish prepared with either meat or seafood! We highly recommend the Calamari Risotto (with lemon, lime and black pepper), the Nonna’s Meatballs (served with homemade tomato sauce), or the Wild Salmon (seasonal vegetables, pea, and mint sauce).

Franco Manca

If you are craving delicious Italian pizza then head over to Franco Manca – you won’t be disappointed! They have a few locations all over London, however, we will focus on the one in Chiswick. The menu is heavily focused on sourdough pizzas but they have a few other options – salads and starters!

We won’t recommend you any pizza because they all are amazing – it just depends on what toppings you enjoy on your pizza. They have traditional and simple ones with just tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil as well as ones with Italian meat (chorizo, prosciutto, etc.).

And please, leave room for their Ricotta pudding dessert served with wild berries and almonds because it’s truly divine!
