If you live in Ealing and you are wondering which restaurant to choose so you can enjoy tasty traditional Japanese food prepared from fresh ingredients then this list is just for you!
Since our team really loves Japanese food – sushi, noodles, rice dishes, etc., we decided to share all of our favourite restaurants in Ealing with you so you know exactly where to go next!
We have scoured Ealing’s streets with great fervor and discovered four of the finest Japanese dining establishments, which we do highly recommend.
Hare & Tortoise Ealing
Hare and Tortoise is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants in Ealing. Not only is the food incredible but the venue is beautiful – super stylish and minimalist. On the menu, you can find sushi, ramen, rice dishes, noodles, and all sorts of other traditional Japanese food.
Of course, they use only fresh ingredients to prepare everything they offer – from fresh vegetables and fruit to fresh fish, seafood, etc.
We highly recommend you start off with their Kani Salad – crab leg meat, green leaves, a homemade Japanese dressing because it’s super tasty.
We often order a sushi box – either the Classic Sushi Box (13pcs) or the Deluxe Sushi Box (16pcs). Also, the Phad Thai (wok-fried rice noodles, king prawns, tofu, peanuts, sweet radish, chives, egg, beansprouts, chilli, lime), the Beef Chilli & Black Bean Lo Mein and the Curry Laksa are incredible!

Tonkotsu Ealing
Tonkotsu is the place in Ealing to go to whenever you are craving delicious ramen. They carefully prepare all of their meals – from scratch, as well as handmake all the noodles. This shows how dedicated they are at offering the best Japanese food to all of their visitors!
We highly recommend ordering their signature Tonkotsu Noodles – made with pork broth with lardo and sea salt, their amazing homemade noodles, roast pork belly, bamboo shoots, spring onions, garlic oil, egg, and bean sprouts.
Of course, if you are vegan or vegetarian they have amazing options for you as well. We really love the Soya Tantanmen Ramen – prepared with konbu and shiitake broth with spicy sesame, their homemade noodles, plant-based soya mince, spring onions, kikurage, and bok choy!
Address: 14 New Broadway, London W5 2XA
Ta Ke Sushi
Are you craving delicious sushi? Well, Ta Ke Sushi is the place for you! Of course, they have all sorts of incredible Japanese food – not just sushi!
They offer plenty of starters to choose from – and we highly recommend the spicy edamame, Soft Shell Crab, and Salmon Onigiri. Next, we often get Seabass Sashimi, Salmon Nigiri, Tuna Maki, Cucumber Maki, and the Dragon Roll! Keep in mind that the sushi section on the menu is huge and will cater to everyone’s taste so if you are a picky sushi eater – you will be able to find something you enjoy!
Our team also really likes the ramen they have – especially the Buta Niku Ramen and the Spicy Chicken Ramen!
Address: 3-4, Grosvenor Parade, Uxbridge Rd, London W5 3NN
itsu
Many of you have already eaten at Itsu because it’s such a big British chain for Japanese cuisine with locations all over the UK but since the food is so incredible we had to feature it in our list.
They offer super tasty sushi that is healthy and made from fresh ingredients. We also really like itsu because most of the portions are big and are made to be shared. We love their Salmon Full House Sushi Set (15 pcs) as well as the Sushi Festival (17 pcs).
Also, their “Signature Sharing Platters” and the “Sushi Bundles” are not only super tasty but the prices are affordable. For example, the Sushi Dragon Platter has 30 pcs and is only £26.50!
