Our team has always been looking for Indian restaurants in Uxbridge that deliver that authentic taste of Indian cuisine, and we are positive we have found some of the best places you can visit which is why we decided to share them with you! This list is for those of you that love Indian food just as much as our team!
The top 5 Indian culinary establishments in Uxbridge that one must make an obligatory visit to!
Javitri
The first on our list is Javitri – one of the best Indian restaurants in Uxbridge! We love going there and we are positive you will enjoy this place just as much as we do! The interior is super stylish and the food is incredible!
We always order the Lamb Samosa and the Tandoori King Prawn as starters. For our main dish, we love the Golda Chingri Bahar (medium spices king prawn, chef’s special sauce), the Chicken Roshuni, the Lamb Jalfrezi (green chilli, ginger, lemon) as well as the Chicken Tikka Mirchi Biriyani.
Of course, there are plenty of other options on their menu – from Tandoori and grill dishes to Balti Dishes, Biriyani, Curry Dishes, Karahi Dishes, etc. Also, they have a lot of vegetable options so if you do not eat meat you will still be able to enjoy Javitri!

Chutneys Indian Restaurant
This traditional Indian restaurant is family-run and has a reputation for delivering quality food prepared from fresh ingredients and traditional spices.
The menu is pretty long and it features plenty of Indian dishes (some of which you won’t be able to find in other restaurants) which is why we love visiting Chutneys so much!
They have a total of 20 starters on their menu so you might have a hard time picking one. We highly recommend the Chicken Kebab Puree and the Hash Duck Tikka!
When it comes to their main dishes, you can find it all – from Chicken and Lamb to Seafood, Duck, Beef, Biriyani, Keema Dishes, Balti, Nan, and a few Vegetable Main Dishes!
We really enjoy the King Prawn Methi, Chicken Garlic Chilli, Beef Lizaz, and the Lamb Shashlik, however, we cannot really pick a favourite dish because everything is so tasty (plus, there are so many options). This is why we highly recommend you visit Chutneys to try the food for yourself!

Tamara Lounge
Tamara Lounge is one of the most beautifully decorated Indian restaurants in Uxbridge! The venue is stylish and chic – plus, there is a shisha lounge and a bar with a DJ! They offer delicious Indian food as well as Chinese, however, today we will focus on their Indian menu!
We highly recommend you do not skip the starters and order the Masala Mogo (fried cassava sautéed with garlic, tomato sauce, spices), the Crispy Chilli Lamb, or the Tandoori Prawns!
We are certain you will love Tamara Lounge, however, we highly recommend you visit with a group of friends on a Friday night or during the weekend because that’s when you can enjoy a delicious dinner then grab drinks in the bar as well as order a shisha!

Lumbini Restaurant
Lumbini is another stylish restaurant that offers Indian food! They also offer a lot of Vegetarian starters and main dishes so if you don’t eat meat you will still be able to enjoy the amazing Indian cuisine that’s full of flavour!
Our team believes that Lumbini offers some of the best Biriyani in Uxbridge – especially the Chicken Biriyani! They also offer incredible “Chef’s Signature Dishes”, our favourite is the Gosht Masala with bone.

S E Punjabi Flavours
And last on our list is the S E Punjabi Flavours, a restaurant offering authentic Indian food that is full of flavour! It’s a family-run business, and the owners have made it their mission to show how delicious Indian food really is!
The menu is focused on traditional Indian food – just how it’s prepared in India. We highly recommend the Chicken Jalfrezi (cooked with ginger, garlic, spices, peppers, and onions), the Lamb Curry (boneless lamb with onion, tomato, chilli and spices) as well as the Keema Peas (lamb cooked with green peas and fresh ginger).
Also, make sure you order naan bread because it’s incredible – especially the Chilli Garlic Naan!
