As you probably already know, our team loves Japanese food – and we know you love it as well!

This is why we decided to share all of our favourite Japanese restaurants located in Notting Hill with you so you know exactly where to go whenever you are craving sushi and other traditional meals!

Our dear companions, may we humbly suggest the quintet of Japanese culinary establishments in Notting Hill that we ardently recommend thee to patronize forthwith.

Eat Tokyo

Eat Tokyo is a small and cosy Japanese restaurant offering sushi, bento boxes, chirashi, unagi, and other delicious food you will love! They are pretty successful and even have branches all over London because they prepare everything with fresh ingredients and people really respect that!

We highly recommend their B3 Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box (tofu, salmon teriyaki, rice, sushi, salad) as well as the B11 Yokubari Bento 3 Box (Sashimi, chicken teriyaki, tempura mori, salad, rice, pickle, miso soup).

Address: 17 Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3JQ

Ukai

Ukai is a beautiful Japanese restaurant that has a super stylish and chic interior design. Not only is the interior stunning but the menu is unique and interesting. They are focused on delivering modern Japanese food with a twist of Mediterranean cuisine!

We always start off with a traditional Miso soup, a Black Cod Gyoza (black cod, kimchi, onion, cabbage), and a Cevice Salad (tuna, sea bass, onion, corn, celery, lime). Of course, they have plenty of other interesting and delicious starters and salads you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

We also really enjoy all of their seafood – from lobster and prawn to crab and squid (all of which are prepared super well with amazing ingredients). For example, we love their Squid with chilli, jalapeno mayo, and lime and their Prawn with orange pranzu and lime.

On the menu, you will also find a lot of meat dishes, sashimi, nigiri, hosomaki, and delicious sushi rolls!

Feng Sushi

Feng Sushi is an incredible takeout restaurant – unfortunately, they don’t have a dine-in area, however, since their food is so delicious, we had to feature them in our list! They have a few other locations in London, however, today we will focus on the Notting Hill branch.

On their menu, you will mainly find sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, however, they also have a few starters, soups, and gyoza. What we love most about this place is that they have sushi with brown rice – and we have yet discovered another restaurant offering this!

Everything on the menu is super delicious and we highly recommend you order sushi from them!

Address: 101 Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3JZ

Flat Three Restaurant

Flat Three is a pretty sophisticated Japanese restaurant with a stylish design. Aside from delicious and unique food you will also be able to order incredible craft cocktails to enjoy before, during, or after your meal!

Keep in mind that they do not serve sushi and they don’t have a lot of things on the menu – they are focused on offering quality over quantity which is why we enjoy going there so much. We know everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and everything on the menu is super creative and unique, therefore, you won’t be able to find these dishes anywhere else.

We highly recommend the Wild sea bass, kabu with salted rhubarb, the Scottish salmon + black walnut as well as the White asparagus and toasted rice with egg.

Address: 120-122, Holland Park Ave, London W11 4UA

Gourmet Sushi

Last on our list is the Gourmet Sushi – one of the best places in Notting Hill for sushi! Of course, they also have gyoza, noodles, and delicious traditional rice dishes, however, we mainly go there for the sushi rolls!

Also, the prices are pretty affordable and the staff is always friendly.
