The first zero waste shop in Bedford, called ‘The Store’, will hopefully open later this year. Taking care of the opening is a crowdfunding campaign.

The person behind this is Rosanna Heasman. She is an entrepreneur and is doing everything possible so that ‘The Store’ can be a reality this year. She says she is sure Bedford is ready to accept using single-use plastic packaging.

The campaign also launched that ‘Waitrose’ is trying a zero waste approach in Oxford.

Rosanna Heasman shares that people want ways to minimize their negative impact on the environment. She says they will stock a wide range of items like shampoo, detergents, rice, flour, etc. that clients will take away in their reusable packaging.
