This list is for all of you that live in Bethnal Green and love Indian cuisine! As you probably already know, our team is a huge lover of Indian food which is why we decided that it’s time to gather and share all of our favourite Indian restaurants in the area!

We have compiled a list of the most exquisite Indian culinary establishments in Bethnal Green, which we implore thee to experience forthwith.

Jannah Grill

First on our list is a hidden gem we recently discovered – Jannah Grill, Indian lovely little restaurant with a small dine-in area with the option of takeaway and home delivery. Their menu is impressive, the food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly which is why this place quickly became one of our favourites in Bethnal Green for traditional Indian cuisine.

We start off with Samosa, Lamb Chops, Chicken Tikka, or Lamb Sheek Kebab – our favourtie Indian starters.

When it comes to main dishes, we highly recommend trying out the Chicken Tikka Biryani, Prawn Biryani, Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Rezalla (with lemon juice, onions, peppers, chilli), or the King Prawn Karahi.

You can also enjoy their platters which are a great way to try a lot of things off of their menu yet not pay the full price. They have three platters – the first one is the Single Platter (including two lamb chops, two chicken wings, one sheek kebab, two pieces chicken tikka, chicken, and lamb swarma), the second option is the Family Platter (four lamb chops, four chicken wings, four sheek kebab, four pieces chicken tikka, chicken, lamb swarma, spicy rice), and the third one is the Jumbo Platter which is suitable for at least five people (one whole grilled chicken, four lamb chops, six grilled wings, six sheek kebab, six pieces chicken tikka, chicken, lamb swarma, spicy rice).

Their Tandoori dishes are incredible and we recommend you try out the Mix Grill and Naan which includes a lamb chop, tandoori chicken, sheek kebab, lamb, chicken tikka, served with a mint sauce, naan, and a salad.

We also really enjoy their Biriyani especially the GreedyCow Special Biryani with lamb, chicken, and prawns, the Naga Biryani which is spicy and has Chicken Tikka.

City of Paris

One of our favourite Indian restaurants in the area is definitely City of Paris. One of the most impressive things about this place is the fact that they make their own naan – and for Indian cuisine lovers like us, this is incredible news. You have to try the Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, or the Keema Naan with minced meat which is three of our favourites.

With incredible starters like Onion Bhaji, Chicken Tikka Pakora, Paneer Pakora (deep-fried paneer), Lamb Samosa, and King Prawn Butterfly, we are certain you will find your favourite Indian starter on City of Paris’ menu!

When it comes to their main dishes, you will love the Chicken Tikka Karahi, Butter Lamb, Shatkora Chicken, Garlic Chilli Lamb, and the Chicken Saag Karahi.
