Our team definitely loves Indian food. There is something about the combination of all of the spices, flavour, and colour of every traditional dish that makes us crave Indian food at least once a week. And with that in mind, we must admit that we go out to Indian restaurants very often so we know which places in Brentford are worth visiting.
And, of course, today we are going to share them with you so you know exactly where to go!
Top 4 Indian Restaurants In Brentford According To Our Team
Pappadums
First on our list is Pappadums – a lovely restaurant with a great selection of freshly cooked traditional Indian food that we all know and love, excellent service, and affordable prices. It is the place to visit with family or friends not only because of the relaxed ambience and the delicious food but also because they have a great selection of wine, beer, and other drinks.
Our favourite starters from Pappadums are the Vegetable Samosa (with potatoes, peas, mint and mango chutney), the Coriander Lime Tikka (chicken, coriander, lemon leaf, mint and mango chutney), and the Green Prawn (with lime).
When it comes to their main dishes, they have a selection of the most popular and loved Indian dishes – from Chicken Jalfrezi, Chicken Korma, and Saag Lamb to Biriyani, King Prawns Curry, and Chicken Tikka Masala. We also highly recommend you get a Garlic Naan with your main dishes because it’s delicious.

Holy Spice
Holy Spice is one of our favourite Indian restaurants. It’s a hidden gem in Brentford that we highly recommend you visit.
The owners have stated that Holy Spice was created as a tribute to Indian culture and their hospitality – and we couldn’t agree more. The service is excellent, the staff is always super friendly, and the overall ambiance is inviting and welcoming. Of course, the star of the show, however, is their food. Their menu is a combination of traditional Indian food as well as a few modern and unique meals.
One of our favourite things on the menu is definitely the Chicken Biryani as well as all other Biryani options they have.
They also have a selection of dishes for vegans – from a Vegan Chicken Tikka and Aloo Gobhi (with cauliflower, potatoes, garlic chilli sauce, coriander, chillies) to Bombay Aloo Masala and Vegan Style “Lamb” Vindaloo (with soya pieces, sweet and sour sauce, potatoes).

Albany Spice
Next on our list is Albany Spice – another favourite Indian restaurant of ours in Brentford. Their food really is exceptional and everything is prepared with fresh ingredients, traditional spices, and a lot of love!
When it comes to their starters, we highly recommend their Chicken PopCorn, Reshmi Kebab (omelette with minced lamb), Paneer Pakora, and the Tandoori Wings.
As a main dish, we usually either have the Dansak (with lentils), the Kashmiri (cooked with banana), Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka, or the Hoiro Chicken (with mustard seeds, dried red chilli, spices).
They have plenty of other incredible options you are going to love – some of which you can’t find anywhere else! For example, the Murgh Brinjal which is a Chef’s Special!

The Guru Tandoori
And last on our list is The Guru Tandoori – probably one of the most beautiful Indian restaurants in Brentford with a riverside outdoor seating area!
The first thing on the menu is all of the starters – traditional and delicious. For example, they have Lamb Tikka, Prawn Puri, Lamb or Chicken Samosa, Paneer Tikka, etc.
Main dishes include Curry, Korma (with almonds), Rogan Josh (with tomatoes), Jalfrezi, Dhansak, and other similar traditional dishes that can be made either with chicken, lamb, or even king prawns based on your preferences.
They also have a few unique dishes we recommend you try – the Lamb Cacuti (with spices, chickpeas, and coconut) and the Fish Curry & Rice are our favourites!
