Top 4 Indian Restaurants In Sidcup You Must Visit
Moghul was established in 1985 and they have been serving delicious Indian food ever since. In 2015 the restaurant underwent major expansion and renovation – and we can now the venue is chic and stylish.
But a restaurant is only as good as its food, right? And Moghul is definitely great because everything on the menu is incredible! Definitely visit whenever you are craving Indian food because you will love their dishes.
We always start off with a Jhingha Puri (king prawns, herbs, spices served in a puri), a Aloo Chop (spicy mashed potatoes), and a Lal Mirchi (grilled pepper stuffed with chicken or fish). These are our favourite starters.
Next, we either get the Lamb Tikka, the Murgh Hariyali Tikka (with yoghurt), the Keema Mutter (minced lamb, peas, onion tomato gravy), or the Garlic Chili King Prawns.
They have a lot of items on their menu which is why we are certain you will find your favourite Indian dish!

Their starters are traditional – for example, Samosa, chicken tikka, and grill lamb chops. Their main dishes are also traditional. We love the Korai prawn, the Lamb Muppas, the Chicken Garlic Curry, the Oriental Biriyani as well as the Fish Jalfrezi.
We also recommend you order a Sweet or Salty Lassi which is a traditional Indian drink! It’s pretty rare to find restaurants that offer this on their menu!

Curry Mahal was first established in 1968 so they have plenty of experience and are popular with their delicious Indian food. This award-winning restaurant was renovated recently and is now super stylish and modern.
We highly recommend starting off with their Salmon Tikka (with homemade tandoori sauce), a Mysore Chilli Chicken (with yoghurt), a Vegetable Samosa, or with a Prawn Puree!
Then move on to their specials – we love the Chicken Laziz (with fresh ginger, green peppers, coriander, medium hot sauce), the Marugh Mosolla (tandoori chicken, spicy mince meat, boiled eggs, medium spicy sauce), the Garlic Chicken Chilli Fry, and the Chicken Nantara.
They also have incredible biriyani dishes, tandoori, pasanda, masala, and korai!

We love the Lamb Bhuna (medium spiced, cooked with onion, tomatoes, coriander), the Chicken Tikka Dansak (sweet AND sour hot sauce cooked with lentils), and the King Prawn Garlic (onions, herbs with garlic flakes).
