First on our list is Indian Sizzler – a lovely contemporary Indian restaurant that we are certain you are going to fall in love with! From the modern interior to the excellent service and the delicious food, this place is definitely one of our favourites.
Starters include delicious Veg Samosa, Meat Samosa, Chicken Tikka, and Lamb Chops.
Main dishes include lovely Tandoori Oven Baked Dishes like Lamb Tikka, incredible Biriyani dishes, Korma, Madras, Dansak, and Jalfrezi.
Our favourite main dishes off of their menu are definitely all the Biriyani’s – especially the Lamb Biryani, Prawn Biryani, and the Sizzler Biryani (which has chicken, lamb, prawns, and a mix of vegetables).

Saffron House Watford
Yet another favourite Indian restaurant in Watford of ours is Saffron House – a very stylish place perfect for lunch or dinner with friends over delicious Indian food!
We always either start off with their Samosas (lamb or veggie), Tikka Starter, or the King Prawn Puri.
Then we move on to Chicken Makhanwala which is similar to Butter Chicken, a Laziz (Grilled chicken, onion and peppers, garlic sauce), a Dhansak, or the Tandoori King Prawns.

Rabbani’s Indian Restaurant
Next on our list is a family-run Indian restaurant called Rabbani’s – a hidden gem in Watford that not many people know of. We recently discovered this restaurant when we were searching for the next best Indian place and we are so glad we visited because it quickly became our new favourite restaurant in Watford!
Starters include all of your favourite Indian appetisers such as Lamb Chops, King Prawn Puri, Paneer Puri, Tandoori Chicken, and Onion Bhaji.
When it comes to their main dishes, they have lovely Tandoori, incredible Masala dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala and even Duck Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi dishes, King Prawn Karahi, Lamb Dhansak, and plenty of Bhuna dishes.
Of course, they also offer Lamb Dupiaza, Balti dishes like Chicken Tikka Balti, Biriyani, and plenty of curries. As you can see, their menu includes the most popular and loved traditional Indian food and you will definitely find your favourite dish on their menu!

The Prince of Bengal
Last but not least on our list is The Prince of Bengal – a casual little Indian restaurant in Watford that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner after a long day of work. The ambience is relaxing, the staff is very friendly, and, of course, the food is phenomenal!
Meat starters include Meat Samosa, Lamb Chops, and Bengal Kebab (which is spicy minced meat wrapped in an omelette). Seafood starters include traditional Prawn Puree and Fish Tikka while the Vegetarian Starters include Vegetable Samosa, Aloo Chaat, and Chilli Paneer!
