Our team is a huge fan of Indian food – and we are certain you love it just as much as we do which is why we decided to gather all of our favourite Indian restaurants in Wembley and share them with you in this list!
Top 4 Indian Restaurants In Wembley You Must Visit
Saravana Bhavan
First on our list is Saravana Bhavan – definitely the most popular Indian restaurant in Wembley. A fun fact – Saravana Bhavan is the largest Indian restaurant chain in the world and it was founded all the way back in 1981.
They are known for offering delicious vegetarian food prepared with the best ingredients and traditional spices. Yes, their menu consists of only vegetable dishes suitable for both vegans and vegetarians. But if you do eat meat we are certain you will still fall in love with their dishes which is why we still decided to feature them on our list. Of course, we will focus on their location in Wembley since we go there quite often whenever we are craving tasty Indian food!
It’s a very casual restaurant making it perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with friends.
We always start off with their Medhu Vada and Chappathi (Indian bread, potato masala, and gobi curry)!
Then we move on either to their Cashew Pulao, Kadai Paneer Punjabi, Aloo Gobi (curry with cauliflower and potato), Dhal Makhani, or the Masala Dosa.
They also have impressive dessert options so definitely leave room for the Cashewnut Halwa or the Bhadusa!

Wembley Tandoori
The next favourite Indian restaurant of ours located in Wembley is Wembley Tandoori – a lovely little place that serves both traditional dishes as well as a few unique options that have a modern and contemporary twist to them. We love the ambience, how excellent the service is as well as how friendly the staff is. We are certain you are going to love this restaurant if you have yet to visit it! They have been serving delicious Indian food for over 30 years and are doing an amazing job at growing and perfecting their menu!
Of course, they have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters and main dishes.
If you do not eat meat then start off with the Onion Bhaji, Chilli Paneer (deep-fried cottage cheese, chilli sauce, onion, peppers, garlic, chilli), or the Veg Momo (dumplings with vegetables and spices, served with a home-made chutney)!
Then move on to the main dishes – our favourites are the Daal Makhani (with black lentils, red kidney beans), the Channa Masala (chickpeas, onion, garlic, ginger, special Indian spices), and the Bombay Aloo (potatoes, tomatoes, onion sauce, spices)!
If you do eat meat then start off with their Tandoori Wings, Lamb Momo (dumplings with minced lamb, spices, served with a home-made chutney), the Chilli Chicken, or the Torpedo King Prawns (prawns wrapped with filo pastry)!
Then move on to the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, or Madras Fish Curry!

Station31
Next on our list is Station31 – another popular Indian restaurant that you are going to love! The interior is stylish and modern with LED lights and beautiful upholstery. But, of course, the star of the show is the menu – not the interior design.
We always start off with Chicken Lollipop, Tai Pai Prawns, or the Chilli Garlic Mushroom.
When it comes to their main dishes, we highly recommend all of their Tandoori dishes (especially the Kashmiri Lamb Sheek Kebab and the Hara Masala Tandoori Prawns). We also enjoy their Biryani dishes!
For dessert got for the Rasmalai (Indian cottage cheese dumplings, milk)!

Masala Canteen Bar & Restaurant
And last but definitely not least we have Masala Canteen Bar & Restaurant – definitely one of our favourite places to visit on Friday nights because of their impressive selection of food and drinks! The interior is stylish yet super cosy, the staff are friendly, the service is incredible, and, of course, the food is fantastic!
We highly recommend you start off with their Masala Fries, Madras Idli with Sambar, or Hariyali Paneer Tikka.
When it comes to their main dishes, we always either get the Paneer Makhanwala (cottage cheese cooked in a tomato gravy), the Dal Makhani (black lentils, kidney beans, sauce, onion, tomatoes, butter, cream), or the Dal Tadka Curry.
We also love their Dosa – in fact, we think that they offer the most delicious dosa in Wembley! We highly recommend the Masala Dosa and the Chilli Onion Dosa!
