We highly recommend you start off with a Paani Puri (semolina balls, potato onions filling, spiced cumin water) as well as with a Samosa Chaat (filo pastry, potato and pea filling, yoghurt, tamarind). These are our favourite starters on their menu!
Next, we often get the Gunpowder (hot chicken or lamb curry depending on your preferences with dried crushed chillies), the Karahi (chicken or lamb, bell pepper sauce), or the Chicken Tikka Masala.
They don’t have that many main dishes on their menu because they truly have focused on quality over quantity – and this is why we love this restaurant so much!

The Great Gurkhas
The Great Gurkhas is another casual Indian restaurant located in Weybridge that does indeed offer delicious traditional food and excellent service. We love going there during the weekends for a dinner but make sure you book a table because sometimes they are packed.
They were established in 2003 and have been preparing some of the most delicious Indian food in the area ever since. On their menu, you will find a mix of Indian and Nepalese cuisine – and every dish is incredible, from the starters to the main and side dishes to even their desserts!
Yes, they do have tasty desserts we highly recommend you order. We love the Dudilo kera (fried fresh banana fritter with dark rum and vanilla ice-cream) as well as the Lal mohan (dumplings with a lemon sorbet)!

We highly recommend their Lamb Plain Curry, the Chicken Cappisila (cooked with crushed cashews, almonds, green pepper), the Chicken Tikka Dhansak (cooked with lentils in a sweet and sour sauce) as well as the Tikka Bhuna (cooked with fresh tomatoes, capsicum, onions). Of course, their biriyani is also incredible – and it goes very well with their traditional Garlic Naan Bread!
