We have never met someone that doesn’t like Italian food. Whether you love pizza, pasta, or any other traditional main dish or even dessert, Italian cuisine is definitely a favourite of many.
This is why our team is going to share the most incredible Italian restaurants in Bermondsey with you today so you know exactly where to go when you are craving some delicious pasta!
Top 4 Italian Restaurants In Bermondsey According To Our Team
Flour & Grape
Starting off today’s list with Flour & Grape – one of the most popular and loved Italian restaurants in Bermondsey! It’s a stunning place with a beautiful interior – wooden floors, brick walls, comfortable leather chairs, benches, and sofas. But, of course, the interior is only a part of this restaurant and the most impressive thing is the menu and their delicious handmade pasta that will quickly become your favourite!
Yes, they specialize in pasta – after all, they make it from scratch. Keep in mind that they do not offer pizza or any other traditional main dishes – only a large selection of pasta dishes such as Pappardelle (with beef ragu), Reginette (with prosciutto, peas, mint), Ravioli (with ricotta, spinach, parmesan, nutmeg, tomato, mascarpone sauce), Casarecce (tomato sauce, chilli).
And then when it comes to their desserts, you have to try their special Tiramisu gelato!

Cafe Murano Bermondsey
Another wonderful Italian restaurant in Bermondsey that you have to visit is Cafe Murano. Just like the first place on our list, this restaurant has a stunning interior which makes the whole experience of dining here fantastic. The menu, however, is quite interesting because it includes unique starters and main dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. They use Italian ingredients but in a modern and interesting way.
For example, their starters include options such as Grilled octopus (with chickpea sauce), Westcombe ricotta (with fig, beetroot, pickled shallot), and Cured salmon (with blackberries, beetroot, and sorrel).
Our favourite main dishes on the menu are the Risotto with pumpkin, sage, walnuts, the Tagliatelle with rabbit leg ragu and green olives, the Halibut with mushroom, sweetcorn, garlic, and the Gnocchi with truffle.
Their desserts are just as exciting too – they have Tiramisu, Vanilla panna cotta with figs, and homemade sorbet!

Franco Manca
As you probably notice the last two restaurants on this list did not offer pizza – and after all, pizza is indeed a huge part of Italian cuisine so it’s time to focus on the best pizzeria in Bermondsey – Franco Manca! With a lovely casual interior, delicious food, and excellent staff, we highly recommend you visit this place for a tasty pizza! And the best part is that they have vegan, vegetarian, meat, and even gluten-free options!
Aside from pizzas, they also have lovely salads such as Roasted butternut squash with grilled artichokes, roasted tomatoes, goat’s cheese, mixed leaves, roasted walnuts, and house dressing.
And for dessert, we recommend their Lemon and almond cake with yoghurt
and wild berries, their Homemade Tiramisu, or the Raspberry Sorber!

Tavolino Bar & Kitchen
We kept the best for last! Our absolute favourite restaurant in Bermondsey in general which also happens to be an Italian place is Tavolino Bar & Kitchen. Everyone that has visited this place has fallen in love. Why? Because of the incredible river view, the excellent service, and the delicious food.
This restaurant is located on the river at London Bridge and has the best panoramic view of London. It’s split into two floors and they also even have an outdoor terrace where we highly recommend you sit during the summer. But, of course, you need to book a table in advance!
When it comes to their food, it’s simple yet sophisticated and delicious. They use only the best ingredients sourced not only from the UK but also from across Italy which makes their dishes even better.
We always either start off with a Burrata with Sicilian caponata (which is a Sicilian dish with chopped fried aubergine, seasonal vegetables, tomato sauce, celery, olives, and capers).
Main dishes include pasta, pizza, and a few other traditional main dishes with a modern twist such as a Pan-fried stone bass with pancetta, cannellini and beans or a Corn fed chicken breast with potatoes, mushrooms, and a delicious mascarpone bruschetta.
When it comes to their pasta dishes, we recommend the Brown shrimp and seaweed butter tagliolini or the Spicy pork and nduja ragu tagliatelle.
Our favourite desserts from Tavolino are the Pistachio ice cream and the Basil panna cotta!
