Our team loves Italian cuisine which is why we decided to gather all of our favourite Italian restaurants in Twickenham and share them with you today!
Top 4 Italian Restaurants In Twickenham You Must Visit
Masaniello
First on our list, we have Masaniello – the place to visit whenever you are craving delicious traditional Italian pizza! It’s a small lovely restaurant with a casual interior.
The menu is pretty small and focused mainly on pizza. Of course, they also have starters and a few other main dishes like Rigatoni Ragu but other than that they don’t have dishes like pasta.
When it comes to their pizza, it’s exactly how they make it in Italy – choose a simple Margherita or a more interesting pizza like Salsiccia E Friarielli (with Italian sausages, broccoli, mozzarella), Forza Napoli Pizza (tomato, mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, grilled aubergines, pancetta), or Masaniello Pizza (parma ham, mozzarella, rocket, cherry tomatoes, Parmesan)!
If you have room for dessert, they offer a delicious unique Tiramisu with pistachio!

Osteria Pulcinella
Next on our list is Osteria Pulcinella – a stunning Italian restaurant decorated with wine barrels. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and, of course, the service is excellent – what more do you need?
The first thing on the menu is all of the starters – from Burrata (with roasted peach, rocket leaves, truffle oil) and Frittura di Mare (squid, king prawns with aioli) to Carpaccio di Polipo (octopus carpaccio, citrus, olive oil dressing) and traditional Arancini (rice balls with beef ragu, peas, mozzarella, spicy tomato sauce)!
Main dishes include risotto, pasta, sourdough pizza, and a few other meat main dishes!
We really enjoy their pizza as well as all of their pasta because it’s handmade. Try out the Fusilli Pasta with Italian sausage, mushroom, and white wine, the Linguine pasta with clams in white wine, garlic, and chilli, or the Ravioli with mixed vegetables, cherry tomato, and basil sauce!
And definitely remember to leave room for dessert – they have an incredible Sicilian Lemon Crème Brûlée and Panna Cotta with Baileys!

Ballarò
Ballarò is a lovely Italian restaurant that specializes in preparing Sicilian cuisine but with a modern twist. It’s very important for them to use fresh seasonal ingredients which is why their menu changes throughout the year. When it comes to the interior of the restaurant, it’s stylish and fashionable yet very warm and cosy.
We always either start off with a Bruschetta, Involtini Di Melanzane (fried aubergine rolls, tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, basil pesto), or deep-fried calamari and courgettes (served with their homemade tartar sauce)!
Then we either move on to their delicious pizzas or pasta dishes. We highly recommend trying out the Pistacchiosa Pizza (pistachio pesto, mozzarella, burrata cheese, mortadella, toasted pistachios), the Contadina pizza (tomato sauce, radicchio, Italian sausage, gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan), and the Spaghetti di mare alla Palermitana (mussels, squid, king prawns, cherry tomatoes, garlic sauce)!

Ristorante Del Posto
And last on our list, we have Ristorante Del Posto – a place with incredible service, friendly staff, delicious Italian food, and a beautiful venue! Also, the prices are pretty affordable!
We always start off with either their Carpaccio Di Fassona (marinated beef, rocket, cherry tomato
Shaved parmesan, olive oil), the Capesante (scallops, herbs, pistachio breadcrumbs), or the Burrata (with Parma ham, Sardinian flatbread)!
Their main dishes include handmade pasta, pizza, and quite a few other meat and seafood main dishes.
When it comes to their desserts, they have Pear and ricotta cheesecake, Sticky Toffee Pudding (served with ice cream), Sicilian pistachio ice cream (with a liquid dark chocolate centre, rolled in pistachio pieces), etc.!
