One of our favourite Mediterranean restaurants in Bethnal Green is called Tas Firin and they serve Turkish cuisine.
Starters include incredible options such as Spinach Tarator (yoghurt, spinach, garlic), Patlican Soslu (aubergine, green peppers, tomato sauce, garlic), Lentil soup, and even Russian Salad (with potatoes, carrots, peas, egg, pickles, mayo).
Main dishes include charcoal-grilled kebabs such as Adana Kofte, Chicken Shish, and Lamb Cutlets, all of which are served with a salad, rice, and bread. They also offer other traditional dishes such as Pan Chicken Tava (chicken, tomatoes, onions, green and red peppers with garlic), Meat Moussaka, Pide (which is known as Turkish pizza), and even seafood and fish dishes that we love.
Of course, when it comes to dessert, you won’t be disappointed because they have delicious Baklava as well as Rice Pudding!

Wood Mangal
Another Mediterranean restaurant that we recommend you visit is Wood Mangal. The menu consists of plenty of Turkish dishes as well as a few other Mediterranean options. We love the menu, the food, the interior, and how friendly the staff is.
Of course, they have cold and hot starters. Cold ones include options like Hummus, Kisir (wheat, parsley, onions, fresh lemon juice, tomato sauce, olive oil), and an Aubergine Salad while the hot starters include options like Falafel, Calamari, Sigara Boregi (which is a pastry with feta cheese), and much more!
When it comes to their main dishes, we love the Lamb Doner, the Chicken Kofte, the Lamb Chops, and the Yogurt Lamb Shish.

Delamina EAST
The next Mediterranean restaurant that we love very much is Delamina – definitely the place with the most stunning interior. It’s bright, stylish, and very modern which makes eating there a great experience!
Our favourite things on their menu are their Fritters (with feta cheese, quinoa, mint, and a red pepper salsa), the Portobello Mushrooms (with sweet and spicy harissa, cashews, parmesan), the Charcoaled Sweet Potato (with tahini), the Lamb Chops (with mint yoghurt), and the Grilled Chicken Thigh (with hummus, tahini, and pomegranate seeds). We also really enjoy the Tuna (with roasted hazelnuts, a salad, lemon dressing, avocado). As you can see, the menu consists of very unique and interesting dishes!
For dessert go for their Cake with dates and pistachio or the Kadayif with vanilla cheesecake cream.

La Forchetta
And last on our list, we have an Italian restaurant with a rustic interior and incredible food – La Forchetta!
We love their starters – especially the Insalata Tricolore (with avocado, buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil), the Cozze Fresche (mussels in garlic and tomato sauce), and the Brie Fritto (deep-fried brie cheese, served with cranberry sauce).
The main dishes that we love most off of their menu are the fish and seafood options – especially the Sea bass with seasonal vegetables, lemon and white wine sauce.
You also have to try their pasta – they offer traditional Spaghetti Alla Carbonara and also more unique options like their Tagliatelle with smoked salmon, mascarpone, and spinach.
