Istanbul Restaurant

First on our list, we have Istanbul Restaurant – a lovely little place that offers Turkish food! We love how big the portions are, how affordable the prices are as well as friendly all of the staff is. Of course, the food is always incredible and prepared from fresh ingredients which is why we highly recommend you visit Istanbul Restaurant whenever you are craving some tasty Mediterranean food!

Of course, they have traditional hot and cold starters like Borek (pastry filled with parsley and feta cheese), Cacik, Halloumi (frilled Cypriot cheese), Patlican Ezme (aubergine with yoghurt and garlic), and so many other incredible options!

But the star of the show is the kebabs which are always served with a salad and rice. Our favourites are the Lamb Shish, the Chicken Wings, the Lamb Chops, and the Adana Kebab.

Another favourite of ours is the Pide (Turkish pizza) that we highly recommend you try!

Charcoal

Next on our list is another Turkish restaurant – Charcoal! You will find all of your favourite Turkish dishes served by friendly staff. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming – exactly what you are looking for in a Turkish restaurant!

We highly recommend you start off either with a Mixed Cold Meze (including hummus, tarama, cacik, patlican soslu, yaprak sarma, spinach tarator, kisir) or a Mixed Hot Meze (including falafel, halloumi, calamari, sigara boregi, sucuk). It’s a great way to taste most of their starters at half the price!

When it comes to their main dishes they have it all – kebabs as well as plenty of other meat, seafood, fish, and even vegetable main dishes suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians!

We love the Sarma Kuzu Beyti (minced lamb grilled over chargrill, wrapped in lavash bread with cheese, tomato sauce, butter), the Cream Chicken (with mushrooms, peppers, herbs, special sauce), the Adana Kebab, the Lamb Doner, and, of course, the Lamb Kulbasti!

And definitely try to leave room for the Baklava – our favourite dessert!

Pepenero

Next on our list, we have an incredible Italian restaurant. It’s a pretty popular place that many love. Not only is the food tasty but the staff is super friendly and you sort of feel like you are eating at a friends’ house. They really pay attention to even the smallest detail making the service excellent! We are certain you are going to be impressed by this little restaurant so definitely visit whenever you have the time and you are craving traditional Italian food!

They have plenty of traditional starters including Carpaccio Di Manzo (sliced beef marinated in olive oil, lemon juice served with rocket and parmesan), Parma ham and melon, Caprese Salad, etc.!

When it comes to their main dishes, they offer pizza, pasta, and a few other traditional meat and fish dishes like Costolette Alla Menta (lamb cutlet with mint sauce) and Gamberoni Alla Diavola (king prawns with garlic, chilli, tomato, served with rice and vegetables)!

We love all of their pizzas as well as the pasta – especially the Penne Arrabbiata (with chilli, garlic, and tomato), Ravioli di Zucca (pasta filled with pumpkin, butter, sage), and the Linguine Marinara (fresh mixed seafood, tomato, garlic)!

If you have room for dessert then definitely go for the Tiramisu or the Panna Cotta!

Tapas Revolution

Next on our list, we have a beautiful Spanish restaurant offering traditional tapas and an impressive selection of wines. As you can see in the picture, the interior is stylish and warm – with beautiful chandeliers, wooden furniture, and plants hanging from the ceiling!

We highly recommend ordering the Chorizo A La Sidra (spiced sausage roasted with cider), the deep-fried Squid rings (with served with aioli and lemon), and the Ensalata De Tomates (tomatoes with pickled red onion, goat’s cheese, herbs and olive oil dressing) – these are out favourite starters!

Then we always either move on to the Paella Valenciana (chicken, green beans, artichokes, red peppers, and rosemary), the Secreto Iberico (pork shoulder served with peppers, garlic, potatoes), the Brocheta De Pollo (marinated chicken in lemon and garlic, skewered with onion, mixed peppers served with potatoes), or the Paella Mixta (chicken, seafood, red pepper, green beans, artichokes)!

And last, definitely order a dessert – we love the Churros with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce!
