Top 4 Mediterranean Restaurants In Uxbridge According To Our Team
The Prince of Wales
First on our list is The Prince of Wales – a stunning restaurant you have probably already visited, especially if you love Mediterranean food. We are not only a fan of the interior but also the delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff. The menu mainly consists of traditional Turkish food.
Starters include hot and cold starters – Hummus, Vegetarian Moussaka (layers of aubergine, peppers, chickpeas, tomato sauce), Falafel, Stuffed vine leaves with rice, Chicken Liver, etc. We also really like their salads – especially the Tabbouleh (parsley, tomatoes, mint, cracked wheat) and the Feta Salad (lettuce, feta cheese, mint, radish).
When it comes to their main dishes, we highly recommend all of the charcoal-grilled meats which are also served with a salad, sauces, and rice.

Supreme Grill
Another lovely place serving Turkish food we highly recommend you visit in Uxbridge is Supreme Grill. It’s a small restaurant with not a lot of dine-in area so you might want to order takeaway or home delivery, however, this definitely shouldn’t stop you from enjoying their food because it’s incredible.
They have kebabs, wraps, Lahmacun (traditional Turkish pizza), meal boxes, salads, and even burgers. We love everything on their menu and how well done the meat is. No matter if you get a kebab, a wrap, or a meal box, you won’t be disappointed.
One of our favourite things on their menu is the Chicken Doner (chicken doner meat in pitta bread, salad, a sauce of your choice).
Also, don’t forget to order Ayran – a drink made with yogurt, water, salt.

Bella Italia
Next on our list is a lovely Italian restaurant that offers pasta, pizza, and any other popular traditional meat or fish main dish you can think of.
Even though we mainly go there for their pizza, we also highly recommend you try their pasta dishes – especially the Zucca Dolcelatte (fresh tortelloni filled with pumpkin and blue cheese, served in nutmeg butter and sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds) which is a super unique and delicious dish.
If you get a starter, definitely combine it with their Garlic and Parsley Hand-stretched Flatbread!
And if you have room for dessert, go for the Gelato or their incredible Tiramisu!

Da Remo
Another favourite Italian restaurant of ours in Uxbridge is Da Remo. It opened in 1988 and has been serving delicious traditional food ever since! It’s a lovely little place that is relaxed yet stylish with a beautiful view of their garden – perfect for when you want to escape the chaos in the city and enjoy some good food. On their menu you will mostly find pasta, fish, and meat dishes – they do not serve pizza so keep that in mind!
We always start off either with the Prosciutto e Melone (melon wrapped with Parma ham) or the Calamari (served with homemade tartare sauce).
When it comes to their main dishes, we love the pasta – especially the Siciliana pasta (pasta with aubergines, garlic, tomato, melted mozzarella) and the Marinara pasta (with squid, prawns, clams, tomato sauce, garlic). We also enjoy the Manzo (beef with mustard, onions, mushrooms, red wine sauce) and the Branzino (sea bass, butter and lemon sauce, prawns).
