Top 4 Mediterranean Restaurants In Wembley You Must Visit
Mezze Grill
First on our list, we have a small casual Turkish restaurant offering delicious food you are going to love!
They have cold and hot starters including some of our favourites – Hummus, Yogurtlu Patlican (chargrilled aubergine, yoghurt, garlic), Lahmacun (Turkish pizza with minced lamb, onions, tomato, parsley), Falafel, and Sigara Boregi (pastry with feta cheese, parsley).
When it comes to their main dishes, you can never go wrong with ordering one of their kebabs. We highly recommend the Lamb Shish, Adana Kofte, and Chicken Doner – all of which are served with rice!
For dessert, we always order their homemade Baklava.

Shawarma Grill
Next on our list, we have another favourite Turkish restaurant of ours. It’s casual, relaxed, and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner after a long day of work! Of course, they also offer takeaway and home delivery if you want to enjoy their food in the comfort of your home! They do not have starters so keep that in mind!
We absolutely love their wraps and we are certain you will enjoy them. Usually, we either get the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, the Lamb Doner, or the Chicken Shish Wrap (all of which come with chips or rice and a salad).
And if you do not eat meat, you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that they have an incredible vegan wrap you can enjoy called the Falafel Wrap!
Address: 350-352 High Rd, Wembley HA9 6AZ
Arena Restaurant
Next, we have a stunning traditional Greek restaurant with a lovely venue, friendly staff, delicious food, and excellent service.
Start off with either a cold or hot starter. We love the Tzatziki (a greek yoghurt, mint, cucumber, garlic dip), the Melinzanosalata (an aubergine mousse with tahini, garlic, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice), their stuffed vine leaves with rice, onion, herbs as well as the Spanakopita (filo pastry with feta cheese, spinach).
When it comes to their main dishes, you can never go wrong with ordering a traditional Souvlaki (either a chicken, pork, lamb, or vegetarian one). It’s skewered cubes of marinated meat or vegetables with onion and peppers, rice, potatoes, and salad. We also really enjoy their Lamb Kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb, herbs, wine, mash potatoes).
Address: 307 Harrow Rd, Wembley HA9 6BD
Mushroom Italian Restaurant
Last on our list is a hidden gem we discovered a few months ago – a little Italian restaurant called Mushroom that you are going to love! In fact, we enjoy going there so much that we have previously talked about it in other lists of ours. Everything is excellent – from the service and ambience to the food and the friendly staff!
They definitely aren’t as popular as the other places we previously listed, however, this shouldn’t stop you from going because you will fall in love with their delicious food!
Their menu consists of incredible pasta, a few traditional main meat and fish dishes as well as desserts!
When it comes to their pasta dishes, we highly recommend trying out their Tagliolini (with crab, sweet chilly, garlic, cherry tomatoes), the Spaghetti “alla chitarra” (with pistachio pesto, tiger prawns), and their homemade ravioli (with ricotta, spinach, butter, sage).
If you prefer other traditional Italian main dishes, you can try their Pan-fried sea bass (with potatoes, lemon cream, carrots, zucchini), the Grilled chicken breast (with roasted potatoes, rocket salad, parmesan), or the Grilled Lamb (with red wine sauce).
And definitely make sure you leave room for dessert. We love the Tiramisu, the Pistacchioso (mousse from pistachios and hazelnuts with biscuits), and the Vanilla Panna Cotta!
