La Farola Cafe

The first place you need to visit if you love Spanish food and tapas is La Farola Cafe – one of our favourite restaurants in Islington in general! It’s a lovely little place with a gorgeous venue – rustic and stylish. The food is absolutely delicious and always prepared with fresh ingredients, and the staff is very friendly.

Their menu consists of both traditional dishes as well as a few unique and creative options you won’t find anywhere else.

We highly recommend you order their Squid Ink Risotto (with parmesan, aioli, crispy squid), the Jamon De Teruel, the Chorizo With Black Beans, and the famous Croquetas de jamón y queso mahón! These are our favourite dishes on their menu and we are certain you are going to love them as well.

Of course, just like any other Spanish restaurant, La Farola Cafe has an impressive menu with drinks that go very well with every dish.

For dessert, definitely go for their Churros with chocolate!
