If you love Turkish food and you happen to live in Bexleyheath then this is just the list for you because our team has decided to gather all of their favourite Turkish restaurants in the area and share them with you!

All of these places are incredible and provide not only delicious food but also excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere!

Four notable establishments serving Turkish cuisine in the charming Bexleyheath area that we highly recommend for a delightful dining experience.

Istanbul Kitchen Restaurant

First on our list, we have Istanbul Kitchen – a lovely restaurant that offers a mix of Greek and Turkish food. Everything on the menu is super delicious and since most people that love Turkish food also enjoy Greek cuisine we decided to feature this place on our list – after all, it is one of our favourite Turkish restaurants in Bexleyheath!

They have plenty of traditional starters – both hot and cold ones. We really enjoy the Cacik, Patlican Ezme (Smoked aubergine, tahini and yoghurt), Deep Fried Calamari, the Feta Cheese and Spinach Pastry, and the Falafel!

Then we recommend you move on to their Charcoal Grill – the star of the show! They really prepare some of the most delicious kebabs in the area all of which are served with rice and a salad!

They also have special kebabs served with yoghurt – for example, the Sarma Beyti (spicy marinated minced lamb or chicken seasoned with garlic with cheese, tomato sauce, butter. yoghurt, rice and bulgur wrapped in lavash bread) or the Yogurtlu Chicken Shish (Grilled chicken shish with yoghurt, tomato sauce, butter and bread) are our favourites!

If you love Pide (Turkish pizza) then you will be pleasantly surprised that they offer a few pide options – they even have a Vegetarian Pide (with cheddar cheese, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, peppers)!

Address: 160 A221, Bexleyheath DA6 7EZ

The M Kitchen

Next on our list we have a beautiful modern Turkish restaurant with exposed brick walls and an incredibly cosy atmosphere – The M Kitchen! And not only do they offer delicious food but they also have an incredible Cocktail Menu with unique options.

The cold and hot starters include traditional options like Saksuka (aubergine, green and red pepper
sauteed in a tomato and onion sauce), Hummus, Falafel, and Sigara Boregi. They also have a few interesting options like Beef Carpaccio and Red Velvet Prawns (prawns coated in red velvet, served
with ginger, garlic and chilli sauce)!

The main dishes include Chicken Shish, Lamb Kofte, Lamb Doner, etc. – all of which are served with a salad and pitta bread.

And definitely leave room for their desserts because they have a separate menu filled with delicious options like Chocolate Baklava and Oreo Cheesecake!

Address: 269 Broadway, Bexleyheath DA6 8DB

Hazine

If you are looking for a sophisticated restaurant with a beautiful interior, excellent food, and reasonable prices then definitely head over to Hazine – you are going to love it there!

Not only do they have an impressive menu but they also have a special Wine Menu as well as a different Cocktail menu. We love their cocktails and recommend the Lady Floss (Pink Gin, Raspberry Liquor, Lemonade), the Tropical T (Vodka, Passion Fruit Liquor, Peach Liquor,
Orange, Pineapple, Cranberry, Triple Sec), and the Espresso Martini!

But, of course, we will focus on the food! They have 6 cold starters – Hummus, Cacik, Tarama, Ezme, Tabule (couscous, chopped parsley, spring onions, dill, mint, tomato, red onion), Prawn Cocktail. They also have 9 hot starters including our favourite Sigara Borek, Halloum, and Falafel!

When it comes to the main dishes, Hazine offers traditional charcoal-grilled meat including Adana, Chicken Wings, Lamb and Chicken Beyti, Lamb Ribs, etc.

If you don’t eat meat then definitely order a Veggie Moussaka (layers of aubergine, mushroom, courgettes,
mashed potatoes, topped with bechamel sauce and cheese)!

Delicio

And last on our list, we have Delicio – another lovely Turkish restaurant that was founded more than 25 years ago. They not only offer traditional Turkish cuisine but also Italian dishes like pizzas and pasta!

They use only fresh ingredients as well as homemade sauces – and we really appreciate it because it really shows how dedicated the staff is.

They have both Italian and Turkish starters that we really enjoy.

Aside from all the other Mediterranean main dishes, we really enjoy their Doner Delicio (Lamb doner served with rice or chips, salad, pitta bread), the Adana Kofte as well as the Chef’s Special Mixed Kebab (lamb shish, chicken shish, kofte, doner served with rice, a salad, pitta bread)!
