Our team loves Turkish cuisine – and we know that you love it as well which is why we decided to gather all of our favourite Turkish restaurants in Harrow and share them with you in this list!

Aysu Restaurant

First on our list is Aysu – probably one of the most popular Turkish restaurants located in Harrow. We love visiting because the atmosphere is cozy, the interior is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly, and, of course, the food is incredible! If you have never been to Aysu, we are certain you will fall in love with the restaurant and you will go back every time you are craving Turkish dishes!

In our opinion, they serve the most delicious doners in Harrow. We highly recommend trying out the Chicken Doner (served with rice, salad, and bread) as well as the Lamb Doner (served with rice, salad, bread). We also really enjoy the Chicken Kofte and the Lamb Ribs (again, served with rice, salad, bread).

Other dishes we highly recommend you try are the Lamb Iskender (with yogurt and tomato butter sauce), the Yoghurt Chicken Kofte (with yogurt and tomato butter sauce), and the Sarme Beyti Lamb!

Lokma Meze Grill

The next incredible restaurant you have to visit is Lokma Meze Grill where you will find a huge selection of Turkey’s finest and the most delicious dishes that we all know and love! The staff is super friendly, the venue is stylish, clean, cozy, and modern… and the food is delicious!

We always start off with either a Mixed Hot Meze (includes Borek, Sucuk, Izgara, Calamari, Falafel, Hellim) or a Mixed Cold Meze (includes Ezme, Humus, Cacik, Dolma, Patlican Sauce). These platters are a great way to try most of their hot or cold starters without paying the full price. They are perfect to share with friends or family.

When it comes to their main dishes, we love the Mixed Grill (lamb, chicken, kofte, lamb cutlet, served with rice) and the Chicken Shish (served with a salad and rice).

Kemps BBQ

Next on our list, we have a lovely little restaurant called Kemps BBQ that we often visit for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, the interior is modern, and most importantly – the food is tasty. It really is a lovely place to visit!

Starters include Ispanak Tairator (spinach, yogurt, garlic), Yaprak Sarma (stuffed vine leaves with rice and herbs), Hummus, Sucuk Izgara (grilled sausage), Falafel, Lahmacun (Turkish pizza), and a few other traditional options.

Main dishes include delicious charcoal-grilled meat, kebabs, doners – all of which are served with a salad, chips or rice, special kebabs with Yogurt, wraps, vegetarian dishes, and even fish dishes.

We highly recommend all of their kebabs as well as the Chicken Doner Wrap, the Sarma Chicken Beyti (spicy chicken wrapped in bread with tomato sauce, yogurt, butter, served with yogurt and rice) as well as the Yogurt Adana!

They also have special combos that are very affordable – for example. their Kemps Special 1 is only £33.00 and it includes 1 Lamb Kofte, Chicken kofte, Lamb Shish, Chicken shish, and Chicken wings!

Kenton Kebab House

And last on our list is Kenton Kebab House – a hidden gem in Harrow that serves tasty kebabs and wraps.

Of course, starters include traditional Turkish Hummus, Cacik, and Tarama.

When it comes to their kebabs, we highly recommend the Lamb Doner, the Chicken Doner, the Adana Kebab, the Chicken Shish Kebab, and the Special Mixed Kebab (includes lamb doner, chicken doner, lamb shish, chicken shish, kofte kebab, served with a salad)!
