We highly recommend you start off with their Peeli Mirch and Garlic Black Tiger Prawn (king prawn cooked with yellow chilli, garlic, chives, roasted pepper purée), the Lamb Goli Kebab (lamb meatballs with ginger, coriander, spicy tomato sauce) as well as the Punjabi Fish Fingers (marinated in lemon and carom seeds, served with tadka mayo)!

When it comes to their main dishes, we really enjoy the Barra Lamb Chops (marinated in chilli, coriander, yoghurt, papaya, cumin), the Delhi Butter Murgh (chicken fillet cooked in a creamy tomato butter sauce), the Badami Murgh Parcha (chicken filet stuffed with cheese, almonds, bell peppers cooked in a cashew nut, almond and yoghurt sauce)!

If you prefer non-vegetarian starters then definitely order the Tandoori Lamb Chops (marinated with yoghurt and spices, served with a side salad and green chutney) or the Chicken Malai Tikka (served with a side salad and green chutney). If you don’t eat meat then go for the vegetarian starters – for example, the Vegetable Samosa and Aloo Tikki Chaat are incredible!

When it comes to their main dishes, we highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Chicken Jalfrezi, the Kadhai Lamb (with spices, cooked in curry sauce and onion) as well as the Lamb Vindaloo (cooked in a spicy sour curry with onion and green chillies).

Tangawizi Restaurant

And last on our list, we have Tangawizi – one of the most beautiful Indian restaurants in Twickenham. The venue is super stylish – they even have a waterfall inside. But, of course, we will focus on their food because it’s the most important thing in a restaurant.

Our favourite starters are the Chicken Tikka, Chilly Fish (strips of tilapia fish with chilly, garlic, pepper), the Duck Samosa, and the Onion Patties (a creative twist of the onion bhaji)!

Our favourite main dishes are the Masala Liptey Chicken (diced chicken breast with spring onions, peppers, creamy sauce), the Chicken Jalfrezi, the Lamb Korma, the Coconut Lamb (with coconut sauce), and the Prawn Biriyani.
