Cafe Medi Restaurant
Cafe Medi is definitely one of our favourite Italian restaurants in Orpington. The venue is extremely beautiful – bright and stylish with painted walls and flowers all over. And on top of that, everything on the menu is extremely tasty!
We love their starters and salads especially the Avocado Prawns (prawns, avocado, red onions, cherry tomato with Mary Rose sauce), the Salmon Salad (smoked salmon, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomato, red onions, mixed leaves, citrus dressing) as well as the Blue Shetland Mussels (steamed in garlic, white wine, cream sauce)!
Next on their menu, you will find all of their pizzas, pasta, and risotto. We do recommend their pizzas as well as their pasta. We love the Mushroom Ravioli, Gnocchi alla Sorentina (gnocchi in a tomato sauce with basil, butter, mozzarella), the Seafood Risotto as well as the traditional Spaghetti Carbonara.
Of course, they also have plenty of other traditional meat, seafood, and fish dishes like Lemon Sole Gremolata (with caper, garlic, parsley, butter, sauté potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, red onions) and the Lamb cutlets!

A Mano Coffee Bar & Kitchen
Another lovely Italian restaurant on our list is A Mano which literally means “by hand”. They decided to name the restaurant like this because they hand-make all the pizza dough and pasta dough which makes everything taste so special.
They do have tasty starters and salads, however, we want to focus on their pizzas and pasta since they are the star of the show. The pizzas taste incredible – just like the ones in Italy, and the pasta is our favourite thing on the menu, it’s fresh and tasty! We often get the linguine with king prawns, tomato, chilli, parsley or spaghetti with tomato and parmesan.
Also, make sure to order dessert – the homemade tiramisu, chocolate fondant with cream or their Sundaes Ice Cream!

Scala
Scala is a great Mediterranean restaurant that has plenty of Italian options on its menu which is why we decided to feature this place in our list today. The venue is modern, well-decorated, and pretty stylish, and, of course, the food is super tasty so we highly recommend you visit!
Their starters are a mix of Mediterranean cuisine – from Greek and Italian to Turkish traditional starters. What we enjoy most off of their menu when it comes to main dishes are the pizzas, pasta, and risotto.

Frankie & Benny’s
Frankie & Benny’s are a chain of restaurants offering a mix of Italian and American food. They are extremely well-known and we are certain you have already eaten there, however, since the food is so tasty we couldn’t miss featuring them in our list.
We always start off with a Garlic Pizza Bread or with a Bruschetta Napoli (with tomato, red onion and fresh basil). Next, we move on either to their pizzas or to their pasta – and our favourites are the Carbonara, Bolognese, and the Chicken and Prawn Alfredo!

Cypriani’s
Cypriani’s is another incredible Mediterranean restaurant in Orpington that we love – and since they have a selection of traditional Italian dishes, we had to add them to our list.
Their pasta and risotto are fresh which is extremely important when it comes to Italian food. We highly recommend the Black Truffle and Burrata Tortelloni, the King Prawn Spaghetti, the Lobster Spaghetti as well as the Tortelloni Ricotta and Spinach. If you like risotto then get the Smoked Chicken and Asparagus Creamy Risotto!
