The first is regular upkeep. A cleaner who comes every week or fortnight, keeps the place ticking over, and becomes your cleaner rather than a random face. The second is a one-off: a single heavy clean by a team, the kind you book before your parents visit or when the flat has got away from you. They are priced differently because they are genuinely different jobs, done by different numbers of people. We will not try to fold them into one tidy headline rate, because that would be lying to you.
What a regular clean costs
Regular cleaning runs on a retainer, with the same cleaner held on your home. It is £22 per cleaner per hour on a weekly round, or £24 per cleaner per hour fortnightly. No VAT on top, no call-out charge, no city-centre surcharge for being in town. The fortnightly rate is a touch higher because two weeks of dust is more work than one, and we would rather price that honestly than pretend a gap makes no difference.
Most Manchester homes sit on a two to three hour visit. A three-hour weekly clean is £66. A fortnightly clean of two to three hours lands between £48 and £72, depending on how long your place needs. A one-bed flat in the Northern Quarter with a single bathroom is usually two hours. A three-bed terrace in Chorlton with stairs and a kitchen in daily use is closer to three. We give you an honest estimate first, never a number plucked from nowhere.
Want the ironing dealt with too? We add it on at £12 per hour, on top of the cleaning time, so an hour of shirts is an extra £12 and nothing more. Plenty of our weekly regulars in Didsbury have us do an hour of ironing at the end of the visit and never touch the pile again. It is optional. The rate is £26 per cleaner per hour, with a £67 minimum charge, so even a small studio is worth our while to turn out for.

What a visit covers
The everyday graft that keeps a home liveable. Kitchen surfaces wiped down, hob and splashback degreased, sink scrubbed, bins out. Bathrooms get the toilet, basin, bath and shower screen done, the mirror, and the floor. Through the rest of the flat we dust, hoover, mop the hard floors and tidy as we go.
Beds changed if you leave the fresh linen out. Washing-up done or the dishwasher stacked. Skirting boards, the tops of doors and the bit behind the bin get done on a rota, because scrubbing a door frame weekly wastes the time you are paying for.
We bring our own cloths, mop and vacuum. If you would rather we used your products, because of a fussy worktop, a pet, or a kid with eczema, just say. A lot of the converted-mill flats around Ancoats have a sealed concrete or timber floor that hates a generic spray, and we keep a note of that against your home so the right cleaner brings the right thing.
Two things we do not do on a domestic visit. We do not clean up after building work, which is a heavier job with different kit. And we do not touch the outside of upstairs windows. Cleaning Manchester homes, area by area
Manchester is not one kind of home, and a cleaner who only knows new-build flats will struggle with half the city. The challenge in those is usually a glass shower screen and an open-plan kitchen that shows every crumb.
Out in the leafier suburbs it flips entirely. Didsbury, Chorlton, Withington, Whalley Range and Heaton Moor are period streets, Victorian and Edwardian terraces and the odd big villa carved into flats, with the high ceilings and original details that come with them. Lovely homes. Murder on the dusting if you skip a fortnight. Burton Road in West Didsbury is wall-to-wall cafes, and a lot of our regulars there would rather be out at one than home with a hoover.
Then there is the everyday housing most of the city lives in. Terraced streets through Levenshulme and Longsight, broken into flats and shared houses. Inter-war semis stretching south. We clean all of it, matching the cleaner and the kit to the home rather than turning up with one spray and a shrug. One genuinely local thing worth knowing: Manchester tap water, supplied by United Utilities and largely off the Lake District reservoirs, is soft. In plain terms your taps, kettle and shower screen do not fur up with limescale anything like as fast as they do for our London teams, so a regular wipe holds the shine here. Small detail. Parking, trams and getting in
City-centre access is the fiddly part of cleaning Manchester, and we would rather be straight about it. Daytime parking in the centre and inner suburbs is mostly pay-and-display or permit-only, and the same goes for the streets around Didsbury village and Chorlton. We plan around it. For a flat in town the cleaner will often come in on the Metrolink instead, which beats circling for a bay that does not exist.
The tram helps a lot here. The line from East Didsbury up through Chorlton into the city stops at St Peter’s Square, Deansgate-Castlefield and Piccadilly, so a fair slice of the addresses we clean are an easy walk from a stop and a car never comes into it. If your place has its own space or a driveway, even better, tell us when you book.
Worth saying plainly, because people moving up from London assume otherwise: there is no congestion charge and no Clean Air Zone in Manchester. Greater Manchester scrapped the charging scheme and went with an investment-led plan instead, so neither you nor our cleaner pays a daily fee to drive into town. One less thing to think about.

No. The regular service runs on a rolling basis with a week’s notice to stop or change. We do not lock you into a fixed term. The same cleaner keeps coming because it works, not because you are tied in.
Are your cleaners vetted and insured?
Every cleaner is vetted before they hold a key. We confirm their identity, check their right to work and take up references from real previous employers. They are covered by the company’s insurance, so if anything is damaged you are dealing with a registered firm, not an individual.
What does a regular clean include?
Kitchen surfaces, hob and sink, bathrooms top to bottom, dusting, hoovering and mopping throughout, bins out and washing-up done. Deeper jobs like skirting boards and door tops are done on a rota. We bring our own cloths, mop and vacuum unless you would rather we used yours.
