If you’ve cleaned anywhere along Chiswick High Road or up by Hounslow Central, the borough’s odd shape will already be familiar to you. Hounslow is long and thin, Heathrow at one end and the W4 cafe strip at the other, and the rounds we run reflect that.
We’re hiring part-time domestic cleaners across the London Borough of Hounslow at £13–£15 an hour, paid weekly by bank transfer, on regular fortnightly visits across W4, TW3, TW7 and TW8.

Where the work actually is
Most of our Hounslow rota sits in four clusters. Chiswick (W4) is heavy on Edwardian terraces around Bedford Park and the streets behind Turnham Green station, where flats are converted from old family houses and the kitchens are usually tight galleys. Brentford (TW8) is split between older terraces near Boston Manor House and the new-build riverside flats around the Brentford Project and Kew Bridge, which are easier physically but stricter on lift booking. Hounslow West and Heston (TW4, TW5) are mostly 1930s semis with bay windows and back extensions. Feltham and Hanworth (TW13, TW14) are the post-war estates plus a handful of newer developments off the Bath Road.
Pay, in plain numbers
Rate is £13 to £15 per hour. New cleaners start at £13 for the first month while we work out which clients are a fit; after that you settle at £14, with £15 reserved for the longer Chiswick clients who book three-hour slots. We pay every Friday for the previous week’s work. No monthly cycle, because monthly is annoying when you’re new and waiting on a first wage.
The Heathrow noise quirk that affects shifts
Heathrow runs runway alternation from 06:00 every day, switching at 15:00 on westerlies. One week the southern runway lands the morning planes, the next week it flips. If you live in Cranford, Heston or North Feltham, you’ll know exactly which week is the loud one. We try to schedule indoor cleans on the loud side of the borough on the quieter days, because a vacuum plus a 737 overhead is hard on the ears. We can’t always pull it off, but we try.
Parking, in honest terms
Hounslow’s CPZs run across most of Chiswick and parts of Brentford. We give you a permit code where the client pays for visitor parking, and we’ll tell you straight when a job is a walk-from-the-bus-stop one. On Brentford match days at the Gtech Community Stadium, residents-only enforcement around Lionel Road tightens up and we move those slots earlier or later. If you don’t drive, you don’t need to. The 235, the H91, the E8 and the Piccadilly line cover most of our addresses. If you do drive, low-emission is sensible because of the ULEZ.
What we want from you

- ✓Right to work in the UK and a UK bank account.
- ✓You’ll text the night before if a job needs to move.
- ✓Decent English so the client briefs land properly.
What we don’t ask for: a CV, a covering letter, or a long form.
Who we compete with locally
You’ll have seen the names. Poppies covers Hounslow and Twickenham; Buzz Maids works the same Chiswick-to-Hounslow corridor we do. Letting agents along Chiswick High Road book through us regularly — Fletchers at 86, Foxtons at 225a, Winkworth at 269 — mostly for end-of-tenancy turnarounds. This role staffs our domestic cleaning in Hounslow, end of tenancy cleaning, carpet cleaning and oven cleaning rounds, so there is steady local work all year.
