We’re hiring domestic cleaners across Liverpool at £13.50 an hour, paid weekly, on fortnightly rounds covering L1, L3, L8 and Aigburth down to L17.

Where the rounds are
Most of our Liverpool work sits along the Northern and Wirral line spines of the Merseyrail network: Lime Street and Liverpool Central as the city-centre pivots, then out to Aigburth, Cressington and Hunts Cross to the south. We do a fair bit around the Baltic Triangle and the streets behind Albert Dock, plus a steady stream of flats up Hope Street and around the Georgian Quarter. If you’ve cleaned anywhere between Bold Street and Princes Park, you’ll already know the postcodes.
The work mix is mostly maintenance cleans in private flats and small terraces. We pick up two or three end-of-tenancy slots a month, usually via local letting agents like Sutton Kersh’s lettings branches, who manage over two thousand rented properties around the city and Allerton. A handful of our city-centre work comes through Logic on Dale Street.
What we pay
£13.50 an hour. Bank transfer, every Friday. We pay weekly because monthly is rough when you’re new and waiting on a first wage.
That’s above the National Living Wage of £11.44 and a bit above what Maid2Clean’s Liverpool branch is currently paying its regular cleaners. We’re not the highest-paying agency in the city. We’re not the lowest either. We aim for steady weekly hours with the same households so you build a rota you actually like.
Liverpool is a permit city now
The city-centre Controlled Parking Zone runs daily from 7am to 11pm. If a job is inside the zone, we sort the visitor permit through the client, or we tell you straight that it’s a walk-from-Lime-Street job and we won’t pretend otherwise. The council didn’t bring in a charging Clean Air Zone, so there’s no daily fee for older cars, but parking inside the L1 and L3 streets is the real headache.
If you don’t drive, you don’t need to. Almost all our Liverpool rota is walkable from a Merseyrail stop or one of the Queensway Tunnel buses (10A, 13, 54A, 55D, 56, X4) if you’re commuting in from Birkenhead.
Selective licensing, and why it matters to a cleaner
Liverpool runs a selective licensing scheme covering sixteen wards including Riverside, Picton, Kensington, Anfield, Everton and Wavertree, and it runs to 31 March 2027. In practice that means landlords on those rounds tend to keep properties in better nick, and end-of-tenancy briefs come with a tighter checklist. Good for us. Slightly more pressure on you. We’ll talk you through it before any EOT shift.
What we want from you
- ✓You’ve cleaned before, professionally or seriously domestically. We’re not training from zero this round.
- ✓You’ll turn up. The clients we lose, we lose to no-shows, and we won’t be that agency.
- ✓Send a text the night before if a job needs to move.
- ✓A right-to-work document and a recent utility bill at the meeting.
We don’t ask for a CV or a covering letter.
This role staffs our domestic cleaning in Liverpool, end of tenancy cleaning, carpet cleaning and oven cleaning rounds, so there is steady local work all year.
