Wembley is the bit of the rota we plan around the calendar. On the 25-or-so big stadium event days each year, parking restrictions in the event-day zone run 8am to midnight on the main approaches and 10am to midnight in residential streets, with Zone T enforced 24 hours, so any HA9 job near Empire Way or Wembley Park Hill has to start before mid-morning or push into the next day.
We’re hiring part-time domestic cleaners across Brent at £14.80 an hour, paid weekly, on fortnightly rounds covering NW2, NW6, NW9, NW10, HA0 and HA9.

The Brent rota, area by area
The borough sprawls. Our patch breaks into four loose clusters and the Tube map mostly explains why.
The Kilburn and Brondesbury cluster (NW6, NW2) is our oldest. Most of these are maintenance cleans in flats above Kilburn High Road, the long Victorian conversions running south from Brondesbury station toward Queen’s Park. Worth knowing: Kilburn High Road is the boundary between Brent and Camden, so the same street can be two different councils for parking. Brondesbury station sits on a viaduct over the road and runs the Mildmay line of the Overground; Kilburn Park, a few minutes south on Cambridge Avenue, is the Bakerloo line. If you don’t drive, the Bakerloo and the Mildmay together cover almost everything in this cluster.
The Willesden and Harlesden cluster (NW10, NW2) is mostly Edwardian and inter-war terraces, with a thicker band of post-war flats around Stonebridge. End-of-tenancy work here mostly comes through letting agents on Walm Lane and Willesden High Road, including Daniels Estate Agents at Willesden Green and Empire Estates a few doors down. Aspect Property covers a chunk of NW10 and Wembley too.
The Wembley and Sudbury cluster (HA0, HA9) is the busiest in turnover. Around Wembley Park you have the new ex-industrial flats off Empire Way and the Olympic Way build-out, plus older 1930s semis stretching into Sudbury. The mix matters because the new-build flats clean fast and the 1930s stock takes longer than the listing photos suggest.
The Kingsbury and Cricklewood cluster (NW9, NW2) sits next to the Welsh Harp, with the Brent Cross Town regeneration on the eastern edge adding hundreds of new flats a year through 2026 and beyond. Cricklewood’s older terraces on Lichfield Road and Fordwych Road keep the maintenance side ticking; the new builds bring a steady drip of after-builders work.
Pay, no waffle
£14.80 an hour. That is the London Living Wage rate for 2025–26, which employers are expected to apply by 1 May 2026. Paid every Friday by bank transfer.
For honest comparison: the local domestic-cleaning agencies hover lower. Pro Cleaners London advertise their Brent client rate around £19 an hour, of which the cleaner sees a fraction. Miss Maid in Kilburn NW6 quote client-side from a similar starting band. We pay closer to the top end because we want cleaners to stay on the round, not churn every six months.
Self-employed or PAYE, your pick. We do not deduct training fees or admin fees from your first wage.
Brent things you’ll learn quickly
Three practical points before day one.
- Wembley event days are the planning constraint. Brent Council publishes the event calendar in advance. We pull HA9 jobs forward to early morning or push them to the day after, and we tell you the night before which way we’ve gone. If you live near the stadium yourself, the same restrictions hit your own street.
- The borough’s parking is patchy. Some Wembley CPZs run extended hours on event days; Kilburn and Willesden Green have higher visitor charges than other Brent wards. We give you the permit code for client-paid jobs and we are honest about which ones are a walk from the bus stop.
- If you drive, low-emission is sensible because the ULEZ now covers the whole borough. If you don’t, the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Metropolitan and Mildmay lines, plus the 18, 32, 92, 182, 297 and 302 buses, cover almost every street we’d send you to.
What we want from you
You’ll have cleaned before, properly. Domestic experience or a serious housekeeping background is fine; we are not training a complete beginner this round.
You’ll text the night before if a job needs to move. That one rule is the one we actually care about, because the Wembley event-day reshuffles only work if everyone knows twelve hours ahead.
You’ll be reachable on a working mobile, you’ll keep your kit clean between visits, and you’ll tell us straight if a client asks for something the booking didn’t cover. We sort it from the office. You don’t argue it on the doorstep.
