If you’ve worked a Friday morning round in Fulham, you’ll know the awkward bit is the parking, not the cleaning. The work itself is steady. Most of our Hammersmith and Fulham rota sits between Fulham Broadway and Hammersmith Broadway, with a thinner band running north through Shepherd’s Bush and west around Bishops Park.
We’re hiring domestic cleaners across Hammersmith and Fulham at £14.80 an hour, paid weekly, on regular fortnightly rounds covering SW6, W6, W12 and W14.

What the work actually looks like
The mix is mostly maintenance cleans in private flats and a steady run of end-of-tenancy slots booked through letting agents on Fulham Road and Moore Park Road. Two of the agents who send us the most end-of-tenancy work are Marsh and Parsons on Moore Park Road and the Bishop’s Park office on Fulham Palace Road. Most of the houses we clean are converted Victorian terraces split into flats, especially around West Kensington and the streets behind North End Road. The flats are rarely huge. Two-hour visits are the norm.
Pay, plainly
£14.80 an hour. That is the London Living Wage rate for 2025 to 2026, set by the Living Wage Foundation. We pay weekly. Bank transfer every Friday for the previous week’s hours. We do not pay monthly because monthly is a horrible way to start a job when you are waiting on your first wage and rent is due. Self-employed or PAYE, your call.

The parking, since you’ll ask
Hammersmith and Fulham is a parking borough and the council kept tightening the rules through 2025. From February 2025 the borough switched to emissions-based parking charges, including a £1 an hour diesel surcharge in pay-and-display zones. From 30 June 2025 the council consolidated the old B and BB zones into a single Controlled Parking Zone B, with operating hours running Monday to Sunday 8.30am to 11pm and a 90-minute maximum stay on pay-and-display and RingGo bays. We tell you in advance which jobs are walk-from-the-station and which need a permit. If you do drive, an electric or low-emission car is the sensible choice across SW6, W6 and W14, all of which sit inside ULEZ.
Getting around without a car
You really do not need to drive in this borough. Hammersmith has two separate tube stations sitting opposite each other across the Broadway, the District and Piccadilly lines on one side, the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines on the other. Shepherd’s Bush has the Central line, and the Overground is two minutes’ walk away inside the Westfield bus interchange. The 295 from Clapham Junction is the workhorse for our rota, running through Fulham Broadway, Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith and Shepherd’s Bush Green up to Ladbroke Grove. The 220 ties Hammersmith into White City for the Westfield-side jobs. The 14 and 414 cover North End Road for the West Kensington flats.
What we want from you
You will have cleaned before. Professionally, or seriously domestically over a long stretch.
You will turn up on time. Cleaners who do not turn up are why agencies lose contracts in this borough, and we take their bookings when they do.
You will text the night before if a job has to move. That is the one rule.
What we do not ask for: a CV, a covering letter, or a long online form.
