How the clean actually works
The method is hot-water extraction. Half our customers call it steam cleaning and that is fine, though there is almost no steam in it, which tends to disappoint anyone picturing a hissing kettle. What happens on the day is plainer than that, and it happens in a set order for a reason.

First, and most of all, the Becontree semi. The estate is the big fact of housing here: roughly twenty-six thousand homes laid out across about four square miles between the wars, the largest council estate ever built, low cottage-style houses with front and back gardens and little grass greens dropped on the street corners. Decades of right-to-buy mean a lot are owned now and lovingly kept. Second, the new Riverside flat. Stains, and what we will not promise

Drying, and the hours after we leave
A carpet that has been extracted properly is damp, not wet, and most rooms are fine to walk on within a few hours and properly dry inside about half a day. Crack a window if you can. A fan aimed across the floor makes a real difference.
