A one-off clean is a separate service at £26 per cleaner per hour, with a £67 minimum charge. It is done by a small team, usually two cleaners for about three hours, because two people moving through a home together get a deep job done in an afternoon rather than dragging it across a whole day. If you want ironing on top of either service, that is £12 an hour added to the cleaning time.
Regular round or one-off clean
Most people who call us want one of two things, and it helps to know which before you book.
If your week has stopped leaving room for the cleaning, you want a regular round. The same cleaner, the same morning or afternoon, weekly or fortnightly. They learn your home over the first couple of visits, which cupboard the bin bags live in, whether you want the bed stripped on a Thursday, that the dog is fine but barks at the hoover. After a month it runs itself, and you come home to a clean house without thinking about it. We keep one cleaner on each home on purpose. Sending a different stranger every week is how things get missed and how people stop trusting the key under their mat.
A one-off is a different beast. You book it for a reason: a tenancy viewing coming up, a birthday that left the kitchen in ruins, your mum visiting and the spare room not touched since Christmas. For that we send a team, get in, and get the whole place done in one go. The homes we clean here

The streets running off the lower slopes of the Hill, down through the South Hill Avenue and Mount Park conservation areas, are full of solid Edwardian and Victorian semis with high ceilings, picture rails and original floors. The limescale problem in HA1
This one is local and it is real. Harrow sits on chalk, and the water is hard.
Affinity Water supplies the area and grades the supply here as very hard, at roughly 363 milligrams of calcium carbonate per litre, which you can check on the Affinity Water hardness page. In plain terms, your kettle furs up in weeks, the shower screen goes cloudy, and a chalky white film keeps coming back on taps and tiles no matter how often you wipe. It is the single most common thing Harrow customers point at when they show us round.
On a regular round the cleaner stays ahead of it. Taps, glass and tiles get treated every visit, so the build-up never gets a grip. On a one-off we set aside proper time to take the bathroom back to clean, which on a neglected shower can be most of an hour on its own. Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?
