Most of our Hillingdon rounds run out from Uxbridge, with a steady spread through Cowley and Hillingdon village and a growing few in the new blocks near The Pavilions. Regular domestic cleaning here is £22 per cleaner per hour on a weekly round, or £24 if you go fortnightly, with no VAT and no call-out charge. A one-off clean is a separate service done by a team, at £26 per cleaner per hour. We keep the same cleaner on your home wherever we can, carry in every product and the hoover, and do the kitchen and bathroom properly. Monster Cleaning has kept London homes in order since 2014. Ring 0333 555 2076 and we price it on the call.

What it costs

The obvious question first. The honest answer is that there are two prices, because there are two different jobs.

A regular cleaner kept on your home is £22 per cleaner per hour if we come weekly, or £24 per cleaner per hour if we come fortnightly. No VAT goes on top and there is no call-out fee inside the borough. A three-hour weekly clean is £66. A fortnightly visit of two to three hours lands between £48 and £72, depending on how long you book. The hourly rate stays the same however long the cleaner stays, so nobody is nudged into hours they do not need, and we will tell you straight if your place needs less.

A one-off clean is the other service, and it is priced differently because it is a different kind of work. We send a team, usually two cleaners for about three hours, at £26 per cleaner per hour, with a £67 minimum charge so a small job is still worth a team turning out for. That is the booking for a deep one-time reset rather than ongoing upkeep, and the next section sets out when each one makes sense.

Ironing is the common add-on, at £12 an hour on top of the cleaning time. If the cleaner spends the last part of a visit on a basket of shirts, that stretch is charged at the ironing rate rather than the cleaning one, and we build the time in when you book.

One honest word on the rock-bottom quotes that drift around this trade. The very cheapest hourly rates only hold up because somebody down the line is being underpaid to prop them up. Our rates pay a fair wage to vetted cleaners who come back and care whether your kitchen is clean. For the wider picture, the domestic cleaning overview sets it all out.

Regular round or one-off team

People mix these two up, so here is the plain version. They are not the same booking and they are not priced the same way.

A regular round is one cleaner, the same one, on your home every week or every fortnight. It is upkeep. The kitchen and bathroom stay on top of themselves, the place never gets the chance to slide, and over time your cleaner gets quicker because they know where everything lives. That is the £22 weekly or £24 fortnightly service, and it is what most of our borough customers are on.

They are not the same booking and they are not priced the same way.

A one-off is a team job for a single big clean. Two cleaners, roughly three hours, at £26 per cleaner per hour with a £67 minimum, so an average one-off of two people for three hours comes to about £156 of cleaner time in one visit. You would book this before you move into a place, after a party, or when a home that has gone a while without help needs hauling back to a baseline before a regular round takes over. The team gets it done in one hit. After a one-off, plenty of people then start a fortnightly slot to keep it that way.

The same cleaner, week after week

This is the part people ask about first, so we will deal with it first. On a regular round we pair you with a cleaner who already works your slice of the borough and has your preferred slot free, then we keep that same person on your home for as long as it suits both sides. The large majority of our regular customers here see the same cleaner every single visit, often for years on end.

It simply works better that way. Your cleaner learns the house, knows where the spare bin bags live and which floor cleaner is under the sink, so each visit gets quicker. When your regular is off sick or away on holiday, we will not drop you, and we will not send someone in blind. The cover gets a short written brief on your property first.

A clean falls short? You are covered.

Ring us within 24 hours and we come back and redo whatever was not right, at no charge. That is our re-clean guarantee, and there is no catch attached to it. Our Trustpilot sits at 3.1 out of 5 across 128 reviews. That is not a perfect score and we are not going to pretend it is, but it is a real number from real customers, and we would far rather show you that than hide behind a made-up five stars. We are Monster Cleaning Ltd, Companies House number 9919639, and the founder still reads the complaints.

What a visit covers

A regular clean runs the same routine each time, scaled to your home and the hours you have booked. The heart of it is the kitchen and the bathrooms done properly, the rest of the home dusted, hoovered and mopped, and the bits everyone forgets actually dealt with. A larger semi off Long Lane wants more time. A smaller flat near the station that finishes early gets the extras done rather than the cleaner clocking off.

Kitchen. Worktops, splashback, sink and taps wiped, disinfected and descaled. The water here is hard enough to film a tap inside a fortnight, so descaling is a weekly habit, not an occasional treat. The hob is done properly, burners checked underneath, and the appliance fronts wiped. The floor is mopped, and the bins go out.

Bathrooms. Bath, shower, screen and tiles scrubbed and descaled, which round here is the part of the visit that swallows the most minutes. The toilet cleaned and disinfected under the rim, round the base and the handle. Basin, taps, mirror and glass left clear. The floor washed, behind the pedestal included, because that is the spot most cleaners skip and the one a bathroom starts to smell from.

Bedrooms and living areas. Every flat surface dusted, picture and door frames included. Carpets, rugs and hard floors hoovered, the sofa too when there is room. Beds made if they are not already, and linen changed when you leave clean sheets out. Skirting boards we do on a rota rather than every visit.

Around the home. Light switches, door handles and the bannister, the germy bits everyone touches and nobody thinks about. Internal glass too, and a last walk-through before the cleaner locks up. Add ironing at £12 an hour if you want the shirt pile dealt with while we are there.

Would you sooner we left everything where it sits and cleaned round it? Say so on the first visit.

The homes we clean round here

Hillingdon is not one kind of housing, and the clean shifts from street to street. We have learned the borough the slow way, one round at a time.

A great deal of it is Metroland. When the Metropolitan Railway pushed its branch out to Uxbridge and the line was electrified, the fields between the stations filled up through the late 1920s and the 1930s with semi after semi, bay window at the front and a long garden at the back. Charles Holden’s Underground station of 1938 still sits at the end of the High Street as the marker for all of it. Those between-the-wars houses are solid, but the original bathrooms and the parquet in the ones not redone in a while want a careful clean rather than a wet slap-around, and we plan the hours for that.

Around Uxbridge town centre it is a different story. New flats have gone up near The Pavilions and along the approaches to the station, a lot of them let and turning over, so we do a fair few first-cleans when someone moves in. South of the town, off Kingston Lane, Brunel University pulls a band of rented housing through Cowley and Hillingdon village that empties and refills with the academic year. Out through Ickenham and Ruislip you are back into bigger inter-war houses with gardens, and over towards Hayes the Elizabeth line has set off a run of new building that is changing that end of the borough fast.

Hillingdon: another job wrapped up by our cleaners.
The water here is hard enough to film a tap inside a fortnight, so descaling is a weekly habit, not an occasional treat.

The one thing almost every home out here has in common is the water, and it shapes more of the job than people expect. Affinity Water draws this corner of London off the chalk, so the supply runs hard, roughly 250 to 350 milligrams a litre. That is why the kettle furs up, why the shower screen clouds within days of a proper clean, and why a strong descaler goes into every cleaner’s kit as standard. Out here it is the difference between a bathroom that gleams and one that looks tired a week later.

Booking, access and parking

Booking is a phone call, not a form. Here is how it runs.

  1. Ring 0333 555 2076. Tell us the size of the place, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, and whether you want a regular round or a one-off team. We suggest a visit length and give you the price there and then.
  2. A quick look on the first visit. For regular bookings the cleaner does a five-minute walk-round at the start of the first clean, no extra charge, so we know the home before getting stuck in.
  3. We assign your cleaner. For a regular slot, someone who covers your area and stays on your home from then on. For a one-off, a team for the day.
  4. Keys, a key safe, or you let us in. Most people hand us a key after a few visits, kept against a reference number rather than an address. A key safe or being home both work just as well.
  5. A message when it is done. The cleaner drops you a quick note, often with a photo of the finished rooms, so you know the job has happened while you were at work.

Parking is mostly kinder here than in inner London, a relief after some of our other rounds, though the streets right around Uxbridge station and behind the High Street are permit-controlled most of the day. Plenty of our cleaners skip the car: Uxbridge is the end of both the Metropolitan and the Piccadilly lines, and the buses across the borough are decent. Where a job needs a car and your road is on a permit, we ask whether you can lend a visitor permit, or we park legal further out and walk in.

No deposit, no joining fee, no long tie-in on a regular round. You can change how often we come with a week’s notice, or stop whenever you like. We are run from 255 Upper Richmond Road West, SW14 8QS, and you can reach us at [email protected] if a call is not handy.

Other cleaning we do here

Plenty of our borough regulars add one of these now and then, alongside the weekly or fortnightly slot:

A regular weekly visit and a move-out clean are not the same thing, and we price them separately, so do book the right one for what you actually need. Want the wider view of what an ongoing service covers across everything we do? The domestic cleaning overview lays it out in full.

Frequently asked questions

How much does domestic cleaning in Hillingdon cost?

Regular cleaning is £22 per cleaner per hour weekly, or £24 per cleaner per hour fortnightly, with no VAT and no call-out charge. A three-hour weekly clean is £66. A fortnightly two to three hour visit runs £48 to £72. A one-off is a separate team service at £26 per cleaner per hour, with a £67 minimum charge.

Why is the weekly rate cheaper than the fortnightly one?

A weekly slot is steady work we can plan a cleaner’s round around, so we hold it at £22 an hour. A fortnightly home leaves a gap every other week and is harder to fill, so it is £24. We are pricing how regular the work is, not how long the visit lasts. The hourly figure never drops for booking more hours.

What is the difference between a regular clean and a one-off?

A regular clean is the same cleaner kept on your home, weekly or fortnightly, at £22 or £24 an hour. A one-off is a separate service we send a team to, usually two cleaners for about three hours, at £26 per cleaner per hour with a £67 minimum. The regular round keeps a home ticking over with one familiar face who already knows it.

Will I get the same cleaner every week in Uxbridge?

On a regular round, yes, that is the whole point. We pair you with a cleaner who already works your part of the borough and keep that same person on your home. Plenty of our Ickenham and Hillingdon village regulars have had the same cleaner for years. When yours is off, we brief a cover on your home in writing first.

How often should I book?

Weekly suits the larger 1930s semis off Long Lane, busy households and anyone home all day. Fortnightly is the popular middle for the newer flats near The Pavilions and the smaller terraces around Cowley. A one-off makes sense before family arrive or after a party. Not sure? Start fortnightly and we change it after a month. Nothing ties you in.

Fresh from a domestic cleaning in Hillingdon.

Do I need to supply cleaning products or a hoover?

No. The cleaner brings the vacuum, the cloths, the mop and the right product for each surface. Affinity Water supplies this corner of London off the chalk, so the water runs hard, roughly 250 to 350 milligrams a litre, and a strong descaler is in the kit as standard. Prefer your own eco brand, or something for an allergy in the house? Leave it out and we use that.

Can I add ironing?

Yes. Ironing is £12 an hour on top of the cleaning time, so if the cleaner spends the last half-hour of a visit on a basket of shirts, that half-hour is charged at the ironing rate rather than the cleaning one. Tell us roughly how much there usually is and we build the time in. Most of our weekly customers end up adding it.

Do I have to be home while you clean?

Rarely. Most customers leave a key with us after the first few visits, or give us a key safe code. The cleaner lets themselves in, does the work, locks up and leaves. Keys are tagged against a reference number only, never your name or address. Some people stay in for the first month while they get the measure of us, which is fine.

Which parts of the borough do you cover?

All of it. Uxbridge and the UB8 streets first, then Cowley, Hillingdon village and Ickenham, on through Ruislip, Hayes, West Drayton, Yiewsley and Cowley Peachey. If you are near Uxbridge station at the end of the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, or along the A40, we reach you. Right out towards the M25 or Heathrow and not sure? Ring and ask.

Are your cleaners vetted and insured?

Yes. Every cleaner is interviewed in person, reference-checked and right-to-work verified before they go near a home, and we carry public liability cover up to £5 million. Monster Cleaning Ltd has been a registered company since 2014, Companies House number 9919639. You are hiring a real firm with an office and a phone number, not an app that hands your address to whoever is nearest.

What if I am not happy with a clean?

Ring us within 24 hours and we come back and redo whatever fell short, free of charge. That is our re-clean guarantee, with nothing buried in the small print. We will be straight about our reviews too: our Trustpilot sits at 3.1 out of 5 across 128 reviews, which we would rather show you than dress up. When a clean misses, we put it right.

Can you clean a 1930s Metroland semi or an older Hillingdon house?

Yes, and a fair slice of our work here is exactly that. The between-the-wars semis that went up when the Underground reached Uxbridge have solid tiled bathrooms and original parquet that wants a careful clean rather than a wet one. The older houses around Hillingdon village carry picture rails and skirting that hold dust. We reach for gentler products where a fierce one would mark them.

Come home to it already done.
