Ironing is £12 an hour, done in your home with your own board and iron, usually tacked onto the end of a cleaning visit. Nobody has ever regretted adding it.
Most weekly homes book two to three hours. A one-bed in one of the newer blocks sits happily at two; a four-bed terrace with children and a dog runs to three or four. We suggest a number after the first visit and you move it up or down as life demands.
What a visit covers
The core is the same in every home: kitchen surfaces and sink, hob wiped over, bathroom cleaned including the screen and the taps, floors hoovered and mopped, surfaces dusted, bins out, beds changed if fresh linen is left out. After that it is your list. Some regulars want the fridge shelves rotated through, some want skirting boards monthly, one wants the piano dusted and absolutely nothing on it moved.
The bathroom earns its minutes here. London tap water is hard, in the 280–300 ppm range, so a glass shower screen clouds a fortnight after you swear you cleaned it, and weekly attention is the only fix we have found that holds.
A weekly clean keeps a home ticking over. Tower, terrace, mansion block, cottage
The build-to-rent towers along Nine Elms and around the Power Station fill with people who work the sort of hours that built them. The Northern line arrived in 2021 and made the commute shorter; the evenings did not get any longer. These flats are small and glassy, quick to clean well, and nearly every client in them is a keys-with-the-concierge arrangement where the flat is done long before the lift brings them home.
Between the commons it is family territory, the Victorian grid people call Nappy Valley, and the brief changes: more hours, more floors, more Weetabix in unexpected places. On Prince of Wales Drive the 1890s mansion flats bring their own quirks, hallways that are all skirting board, high ceilings, cornices holding a decade of dust when nobody owns a stepladder.
Then there is the Shaftesbury Estate, north of Lavender Hill, about 1,200 low Victorian cottages famously built without a single pub because its founders were keen on sober living. The rooms are compact, they come round quickly, and two hours a week goes a long way in one.
Timing is half the trick of it. Families between the commons want the hours to land inside the school run, tower renters want them inside the working day, and plenty of the mansion flats are morning jobs by habit. A regular slot settles into the rhythm of its building within a few weeks, and after that the week feels wrong without it.

The same cleaner, every time
You get one cleaner, not a rotating cast. She learns where things live, which floorboard the baby sleeps above, what the letting agreement is picky about, and the clean gets better through the first month as your home becomes known ground. If she is ill or away we tell you and you choose: cover, or skip the week. Nobody unknown turns up unannounced.
Keys get treated seriously: signed for, coded, never labelled with an address. In the concierge buildings we work however the front desk prefers, key release against ID or a fob signed in and out. Every cleaner is referenced and insured before she carries a key of ours.
The first visit starts with ten minutes of walking and pointing: what matters most, what is delicate, which cupboard the products live in. Every visit after that starts without questions.
One-off cleans and first visits
One-off cleans at £26 an hour, £67 minimum, cover the catch-ups: the flat before your parents land, the aftermath of a party, the spring clean that a weekly slot then keeps hold of. First cleans for new regulars often run longer than the weeks that follow, for the same reason, and we would rather quote three honest hours than promise two and skimp.
A one-off also suits the in-between moments that are not quite a move: a flatmate leaving, a landlord inspection on the calendar, a small birthday party that got away from everyone. Say honestly what state the place is in when you book and the hours estimate will be honest back. Nobody here is shocked by a real kitchen.

That is the normal arrangement, especially in the blocks around Nine Elms and the Power Station where the concierge holds keys or releases a fob against ID. In the houses, most clients hand over a key once trust has settled in. You come home to a finished flat instead of a waiting cleaner.
Will I get the same cleaner every visit?
Yes, that is the point of a regular slot. One person learns your home and your preferences, and the standard climbs over the first few visits because of it. Holidays and illness happen; when they do, you choose between a covering cleaner we vouch for or simply skipping the week.
Do I need to provide cleaning products and a hoover?
For regular cleans most clients do, keeping their own kit under the sink, and your hoover already suits your floors. If you would rather not think about any of that, say so when booking and we arrange supplies instead. For one-off cleans we can bring everything that is needed.
Is there a minimum booking?
One-off cleans carry a £67 minimum, which is roughly two and a half hours at the £26 rate. Weekly and fortnightly slots have no formal minimum, but under two hours rarely does a whole home justice, and we will tell you straight if the hours you propose will not cover the list.
Can I pause or move visits when I am away?
Yes. A few days’ notice is enough to skip or move a slot, and we plan around August and Christmas every year. What we do ask is that a regular slot stays broadly regular, because your cleaner’s week is built out of them, and a slot that vanishes half the time is not fair on her.
