Regular domestic cleaning, and what it costs
Regular cleaning is a retainer. You keep one cleaner on your home and they come back on the same round, either every week or every fortnight, and over a few visits they learn your place. Where the spare hoover bags live. That the back bedroom is the dog’s room. Which mug is not allowed in the dishwasher.
The rate is £22 per cleaner per hour on a weekly round. On a fortnightly round it is £24 per cleaner per hour, a little more because the gap between visits means there is more to do each time and the slot is harder for us to keep full. There is no VAT added to either figure and no call-out charge. The price you see is the price you pay.
Most homes book a three-hour weekly clean, which works out at £66 a visit. If you would rather go fortnightly, a two to three hour clean lands between £48 and £72 depending on how long you book. You decide the hours, not us, and you can move them up or down as life changes.
We do not do tiered pricing. The rate does not drop the more hours you buy, because I have never understood why a cleaner’s time should be worth less in the third hour than the first. One honest hourly rate, the same cleaner, billed for the time the job takes.
If you want ironing done as well, that is £12 an hour on top of the cleaning time. Plenty of clients add half an hour of ironing to a regular slot and have the school shirts done while the floors dry. It is your call each week.

One-off deep cleans are a different service
A one-off clean is not the same job as your weekly tidy, and it is not priced the same way. It is a standalone deep clean done by a team, usually about two cleaners working together for three hours, so the place gets turned around in a single morning rather than chipped away at week by week.
The rate for one-off work is £26 per cleaner per hour, with a £67 minimum charge. The minimum is there because a team booking has to cover the travel and the kit for both cleaners even on a small flat, so we cannot send two people across town for an hour and call it worthwhile.
People book these for a reason, usually. A spring clean. A flat being handed back before the lease ends. A new baby due and a house that needs a proper reset before the relatives descend. The team brings the heavier kit and gets into the parts a maintenance clean skips, like inside the kitchen cupboards and behind the white goods.
