Why hot-water extraction
We use hot-water extraction, the method most carpet manufacturers actually recommend. The machine sprays a cleaning solution into the pile, we work it in, then hot water goes in under pressure and a strong vacuum pulls the dirt straight back out. It reaches the muck that has worked its way down to the base of the carpet, well below the bit you can see on top.
