What carpet cleaning costs in Wembley
Straight numbers first. A bedroom carpet is £36. A living room is £43. A through-lounge is £61, and Wembley has plenty of those, because so many of the semis toward Preston Road and Barn Hill had the wall between the front and back rooms taken out decades ago, leaving one long run of carpet. A flight of stairs is £41. Stairs take longer than any room; every tread is worked by hand. Rugs are £35 up to about two square metres and £51 above that. And if you want the whole carpeted area of a two-bed flat done in one visit, that is £115.
Those prices are fixed. We don’t run a cheap headline rate that grows once the van is parked outside. If the job turns out bigger than it sounded on the phone, we say so at the door, before a single hose comes in.
Two things people always ask. Yes, the £115 usually beats booking rooms one by one; that’s the point of it. And no, there’s no charge for getting to you. Wembley sits inside our normal patch and has done for years.
The two kinds of Wembley carpet
Wembley carpets split into two families, and we clean them differently.
The first lives in the towers. Wembley Park is now the biggest build-to-rent patch in the country, close to six thousand new rental homes around the stadium with more still going up, and nearly every flat was fitted out in pale grey or greige carpet. It looks sharp for about a month. Then it records everything: a footprint, a splash of coffee, the line where the sofa sits, Saturday’s takeaway walked in from the lift. The good news is those carpets are synthetic. They take a hot, firm extraction clean without complaint, and the change is dramatic because the fibre never actually stained. It just sat under a film of dirt.
The second family lives in the streets. The 1930s semis toward Preston Road, Barn Hill and Kingsbury went up when the Metropolitan line turned the fields here into Metroland, and the terraces off the High Road and Ealing Road are older still. These carpets are more often wool or wool-mix, sometimes decades old and better made than most of what’s sold now. Wool wants a cooler clean and a milder solution, or it shrinks and browns. We test a hidden corner first and adjust. Slower, gentler, done right.
Over all of it sits the stadium. On a big event day tens of thousands of people move through Wembley in a few hours, and rain has never once cancelled football. Whatever gets tracked through lobbies and hallways is ground into carpet by Monday. Doormats around here earn their living, and so do we.

Hot-water extraction, plainly explained
The machine forces hot water and cleaning solution deep into the pile, then pulls almost all of it straight back out, and the dirt comes with it. People call it steam cleaning; there’s no actual steam, but the name stuck. We trust it because it cleans the base of the fibre, where grit collects and saws away at the pile every time someone walks across the room. That grinding ages a carpet faster than any stain does.
We rinse properly and extract hard on the final passes, because solution left behind dries sticky and pulls new dirt in fast. A carpet that re-soils in three weeks was rinsed badly.

Being honest about limits: extraction lifts dirt, not damage. Pile crushed flat in a doorway stays crushed. A bleach mark is a dye problem, and no amount of cleaning touches it. Old pet urine that reached the underlay usually leaves some memory of itself. We tell you which camp your carpet is in before we start, not after you’ve paid.
Drying runs four to six hours as a rule. We carry air movers for jobs that need a faster turnaround and for ground-floor rooms that hold damp.
The visit, start to finish
We confirm a slot and we keep it. First job on arrival is furniture: sofas, chairs and coffee tables get moved and cleaned under, wardrobes and storage beds stay put, and pianos are nobody’s to move. If the floor is clear of shoes, toys and cables before we ring the bell, you’re paying for cleaning rather than tidying.
Parking around Wembley is its own sport. On stadium and arena event days the controls tighten across a wide area and half the kerb turns permit-only or suspended, so we check what’s on before we agree a time with you. Can you clean the pale carpets in the Wembley Park flats?
Yes, and we do a lot of them. The light grey carpet fitted through most of the newer rental blocks is synthetic, so it takes a hot, firm extraction clean well and the improvement is usually obvious. If an inspection is coming, a proper clean plus the receipt tends to settle the carpet question.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
Four to six hours for most rooms, a bit longer in cold, damp weather. We extract hard on the final passes and can bring air movers if you need a room back sooner. Walking on it in clean socks once it’s nearly dry does no harm.
Will red wine, coffee and pet marks come out?
Often, but we won’t promise it blind. Fresh spills lift far better than marks that months of footfall have pressed in. Bleach spots and burns are damage rather than dirt, so no. Pet urine that reached the underlay can leave a shadow and some smell; we treat it with an enzyme product and tell you what to expect before we start.
Do you move furniture?

What happens if my booking lands on a stadium event day?
We try to steer it elsewhere. Parking controls spread across most of Wembley when the stadium or the arena has a big date, so we check the fixtures before agreeing a slot and usually offer a quieter day. If it has to be an event day we plan around it, and parking never shows up as an extra charge.
