Nobody in Chiswick has a free afternoon to dismantle an oven, and that is the whole job: door off, glass split, racks and trays out, every part soaked while the shell is degreased by hand, then all of it back together. We do it at a fixed price, and the kitchen does not smell of chemicals when we leave.
Last updated July 2026. Prices and the areas we cover are checked each season, so what you read here is what you pay.
A single oven is £77 and a double is £110. Range cookers are £114 for a 90cm, an AGA is £143, and hobs, extractors and microwaves can be done while we are there.
Oven cleaning prices in Chiswick
£77 for a single oven. £110 for a double. A 90cm range cooker is £114 and an AGA is £143. While we are stood in your kitchen anyway, the hob is £23 to £28 depending on type, the extractor hood is £28 and the microwave is £22.
Those numbers are the whole story. No call-out charge, no products billed separately, no solemn discovery of a heavily-soiled surcharge once the door comes off. An oven that has never been cleaned simply takes us longer, and that is our problem rather than your bill’s.
If you are choosing between the hob and the extractor as an add-on, take the hob. It is the surface you look at every day, and the one the W4 water marks fastest.
What the clean actually involves
We take the oven apart. Racks, trays, side runners and the fan cover come out, and where the door is designed to split we open it and clean between the glass panes, which is where that brown fog you can never reach actually lives. The loose parts go into a heated soak tank in the van while we work on the shell, the roof element area and the fan housing by hand.
Where the door is designed to split we open it and clean between the glass panes, which is where that brown fog you can never reach actually lives.
Inside the kitchen itself we keep to non-caustic products. Nothing that needs the windows open all afternoon, nothing that leaves a chemical ghost in your next roast, and the oven is back in service the same evening. A single takes about two hours, a double nearer three, ranges and AGAs longer still.
Preparation on your side is minimal. Have the oven cool and empty, give us a little floor space for a protective mat, and carry on with your morning; the van brings everything else, water included. If you have lost the shelf that lives in the drawer under the oven, today is the day it gets found and cleaned with the rest.
We clean; we do not repair. If a door seal is perishing or an element looks tired we will point it out while everything is in pieces, but fitting parts is an engineer’s job and we will not pretend otherwise. The main oven cleaning page sets out the full method step by step if you want to see what the money buys.

Singles, doubles, ranges and AGAs
Chiswick kitchens run the full spread of cookers, and each is a different job. The mansion blocks around Turnham Green, Arlington Park Mansions and Heathfield Court among them, mostly have compact kitchens with a standard single built in at chest height. Quick jobs, if nobody has fed them a decade of grease.
The Glebe Estate is more surprising. Those cottages went up from 1871 for Chiswick’s working families, and the council made the estate a conservation area in 2024, yet walk down Duke Road today and half the little houses have been extended out the back into kitchens that hold a serious 90cm range. Small house, big cooker, lots of roasting.
Bedford Park is where we meet the doubles and the AGAs. Norman Shaw’s garden-suburb houses have the kind of kitchens that feed six people twice a day, and an AGA that has run for years without a proper strip-down is a familiar sight to us. Bring us the worst one you have. A range with a winter of fat around the burners is a normal Tuesday.
Rented flats supply the singles nobody has ever cleaned.
Chiswick grease, and the hard-water problem
Grease is only half of what we take off Chiswick appliances. The other half is limescale. Thames Water supplies W4 with hard water, somewhere around 270 to 300 ppm of dissolved chalk, and it marks everything steam touches: pan supports, the trays of steam ovens, the shiny backplates behind range burners.
So we descale while we degrease. Burner caps and pan supports get soaked and the scale spots polished off glass or steel, and combi and steam ovens get their trays and cavities treated for the white crust the hard water leaves behind. Extractor filters are the honest exception: over a busy range they slowly become a solid felt of fat, and where a new filter costs less than the labour of rescuing the old one, we say so instead of billing you for stubbornness.
That is also why the hob price is £23 to £28 rather than one number. A flat induction top wipes down at the bottom of that range; a four-ring gas hob with caps, crowns and supports to strip and soak sits at the top of it.
Who does the work
Monster Cleaning Ltd has cleaned across London since 2014 and is registered at Companies House under number 9919639. The base is at 255 Upper Richmond Road West in SW14, which for W4 means the van comes over Chiswick Bridge, so morning slots in Grove Park and Bedford Park are easy for us to hold.

We would rather under-promise. Most ovens come back somewhere between very good and looking new, and age decides which. If yours has chipped enamel or a cracked inner glass that cleaning will expose rather than cure, you hear about it before we start, not after.
The same office also runs carpet cleaning in Chiswick and regular domestic cleaning in Chiswick, which is worth knowing when the oven is one item on a longer list.
Booking an oven clean
Ring 0333 555 2076 or email [email protected] with the appliance type, and the brand if you know it. Singles and doubles we price on the spot. For ranges and AGAs a photo helps, mainly so we allow the right amount of time and tank space, and the price you get is the price full stop.
Most Chiswick ovens get booked for a weekday morning, and the kitchen is yours again by lunch. If the only workable slot is the same day the cleaner comes or the in-laws land, tell us and we will juggle; an oven clean is easy to schedule around because everything messy stays in the van.
We cover every corner of W4, from Strand-on-the-Green up through the Glebe Estate and Bedford Park to the Acton border. Handing a rental back instead of staying? That is a different booking: end of tenancy cleaning in Chiswick.
Questions Chiswick customers ask
How much does oven cleaning cost in Chiswick?
A single oven is £77 and a double is £110. A 90cm range cooker is £114 and an AGA is £143. Hobs are £23 to £28 depending on type, extractor hoods £28 and microwaves £22. Prices are fixed when you book, whatever state the oven turns out to be in.
How long does an oven clean take?
Around two hours for a single, closer to three for a double, and a good half day for a big range or an AGA. A heavily neglected oven takes longer, but the extra time is our problem. The price you agreed does not move on the day.
Can I use the oven the same evening?
Yes. The aggressive soaking happens in tanks out in the van, and inside your kitchen we use non-caustic products, so there is nothing to air out and nothing to burn off. Once the surfaces are dry you can cook that night, and most people do, just to admire the door.

Do you clean hobs, extractors and microwaves too?
While we are there, gladly. A hob is £23 to £28, an extractor hood is £28 and a microwave is £22. The hob is the add-on we would push for if we pushed: a gleaming oven under greasy pan supports rather spoils the effect.
Do you clean AGAs and range cookers?
We do. A 90cm range is £114 and an AGA is £143. The one bit of preparation sits with the AGA owner: switch it off the day before we come, because an AGA holds its heat for many hours and cannot be worked on warm.
Will the kitchen smell of chemicals afterwards?
No. Caustic chemistry stays in the van’s soak tanks where it belongs. Indoors we work with non-caustic degreasers, so the kitchen smells of very little once we pack up, and the first thing you bake tastes of what it should.
Do you clean ovens for end of tenancy handovers?
Constantly. The oven is usually the first thing an inventory clerk opens and the classic reason a deposit gets argued over. We clean it to hand-back standard and leave a dated receipt, and if the whole property needs doing the oven can be folded into a full move-out clean.
How often should an oven be professionally cleaned?
Once a year keeps a family oven honest; every six months if you roast most days or run a range hard. Little and often is cheaper in the long run, because a thin layer of fresh grease comes off far quicker than five years of baked carbon, and the oven heats more evenly in between.
